It's a cliche to write, but my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and families involved in this terrible event. That this should happen to the brave people who defend us and that it apparently came from someone not only in the Army but someone who's supposed to treat and help its members is beyond awful.

If it's a cliché it is still a righteous cause. I am with you there - this is horrible and our prayers can be needed there.

How sad that somebody didn't follow up on the concerns of the people around that shooter, before it went as far as it did. What have we done to make people so afraid to speak up?
