I've read on other boards think this show is overdramatized and ridiulous. I like this show. What do you guys think about it?

I'm with you on this one Nicolemarie, I really like this show. It reminds me of another series that was on 5 or 6 years ago but I can't remember the name I hate it when tht happens.....

The only ridiculous part to me is where the doctors never wear masks. I know the cameras have to capture their lovely faces, but still... Otherwise, I like this show.

The only ridiculous part to me is where the doctors never wear masks. Hey, at least they wear gloves!

I really like it - I have worked with some of the techniques they show - it is cool to say - "I did that test" & used that machine.
I actually make it a point to tape if I can't watch it.
Two points I don't like is the ridiculous DARK lighting on the filming. Nuts & over the top dramatic there. Sure, this can't happen all the time, but each episode is something that "could" come about. Just these people would not be on all the various topics, the CDC & NIH have specialists for all the areas & different people would be sent out for different problems.
Yah, there would be a lot more detoxing in real life .... but not enough time to show all the glove and gown and mask changes - so it is TV land investigation.
Ask the detractors if they have ever worked in a health or bio lab when they complain about overly dramatic.

This week's malady starts out on Third Watch at 9:00PM.
It's a cross-over storyline.
