Hey Nikki, I saw these and thought of you ;D We got lucky and had a warm front that melted the first 15 inches we got, so this last blast hasn't been too bad. The moppets did get a snow day today, though, but only because we were hit with sleet for the first few hours of the storm. So, how are you doing? Not buried alive, I hope!

Hey Nikki, I saw these and thought of you ;D Very sweet. Thank you. We've had lots of snow and cold temperatures. With being ill since the 2nd and the bad weather, I've had quite a few days off. Today, we need an ark. The snow is melting and about 100mm of rain is expected for today and tomorrow. With the non-stop rain, we just might make that amount today!

I was wondering where you were. Sorry to hear you've been so sick. I hope the weather doesn't hinder you from making a full recovery.
So, how much snow did you end up getting?

Hello everyone. Belated holiday wishes for everyone. It seems like forever since I have been able to post anything, which I am sure some people are happy about. I am still out in the wilderness, living with my wonderful grandmother. Our antenna took a beating and I have a job at a convience store who keeps scheduling me for hours that are very inconvient for me. I miss you people. I haven't been able to watch the show and missed a couple or more of Season 2, which I assumed would become availible on DVD. Season 3, I will order as soon as possible. Most of the recordings I have made of Season 4 have not turned out well. I know this has probably been discussed ad infinitum, but what in the name of Crom was Wolf thinking about? Season 15 of LO and Season 3 of LOCI? How about the other seasons? I am certain this has been commented on but good heavens! I will try to catch up on the forum and try not to be redundant with my comments, but it has been way too long since being able to converse with intelligent and well informed people. I think my scheduling at the store and my internet problems with the wonderful AOL people have been resolved so I hope to be posting more in future. I was not going to mention this, but part of the reason I have not posted is because of the executive position I hold at the store I work in. I do not want to toot my own horn (that could be taken several different ways), but I am the assistant to the assistant, assistant manager, so I am sure you can imagine the sort of responsibilty I have. I think we have seven people that work there.

Coth, I'm so glad you're back! I had gotten very worried when you disappeared. Did you get any of the emails I sent you? Don't worry about being redundant, just post, post, post!

Yes Coth, glad you're back and doing well.
So, is everybody getting hammered? Welcome to North Carolina--we were at 70 a week ago, t-shirts and sandals, and now we've got snow flurries?!?! What is up with that? I love bundling up to walk in the cold, or coming in to a warm building, NOT trekking to classes in miserable bone-chilling ugh. I heard the Northeast was getting it good everybody stay warm!

I feel your pain Janet! Down here in southeast TX, we had snow flurries on Christmas, then back up to 77--shorts and tees for right after New Years. Its insane! No wonder I've been having migranes. I guess thats why they say, "If you don't like the weather here in TX, wait a second.."

Welcome back Coth! Good to hear from you. Check back as much as you can.
Here we had only about 1-2 inches snow today. They say there will be a bigger storm this weekend. Everyone in Philadelphia is thinking about the Eagles game!

NFL rocks in PA, eh? Eagles .... Steelers ..... I'm loving these playoffs.
DOM - do you forgive me for not telling you what a great cyber/snow card that was? It was absolutely charming. I've been meaning to email you for weeks. Seems life just keeps getting in the way of my fun and socializing.

No sympathy here for all those with a snowflake here and there. Its been 15" one day, followed by 8", then blasted with another 6", rain, ice and now more snow for this weekend. I'm not cold hearted, I'm cold everything! (And all this shoveling makes for one aching back.) Is it spring yet?
