Thanks for that, NikkiGreen. I'd also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone on this board a safe and peaceful Thanksgiving. May you all enjoy the presence of family and friends for this special holiday.
ETA: I just checked the member list. Guess who's at 999 posts and needs just one more for the 1000 post smilestone?

A milestone indeed. What great words of wisdom will impart, CR? Or will you keep it pithy?

! ME? Wisdom? ok - I say make sure you make eye contact with a stranger over this holiday weekend and flat out smile at that person. Be glad for your family and friends - I have little of each and get jealous of those who do - so don't make me waste my time being jealous if you don't have a kicking time. I'm off to eat my fill of good food at my man's parent's house - a coulple who are totally great and won't let me cook - but will make sure I leave with plenty of leftovers! can there be any better? Happy Thanksgiving to those who do it.

ha ..... I got some good smiles in; got a few blank stares back, but mostly got smiles & got one blank face to light up with a smile. Holiday well smiled = holiday well lived. Only 2 bulbs knocked off the tree so far - just a little wwf with doggie enthusiasm. They don't bother the tree at all, but when dogs are practicing akido - tails and paws knock into the tree. I really have to get some of that on video. How about the new cat? How is it doing with the house, couch, and any holiday decorations?
