It's not uncomfortable. They give you space to get changed and good therapists go at your speed and comfort level. I'm getting another one this friday and so is my mum.
LOL!

Reminders from the outer realm causing me to reflect on how much I appreciate this board and our interactions. Earlier this week The Newshour with Jim Lehrer did a segment about the Washington Post having to shut down the blog feature of its website temporarily. Apparently one reporter did some article that prompted a hailstorm of response: not "Did you consider these aspects" disagreements but all sorts of obscenities, personal attacks, etc. I mean thousands of such things. The Post spokesman said that it will enable comments again, but they have to do some serious retooling of the filters.
On "Foreign Exchange with Fareed Zakaria" with his little ending wrap-up he broke from the formula to inform the viewers that "On our website, at your request, we've enabled a blogging feature so you can share your opinions with other viewers. Be nice to each other now, or we'll turn it off." Zakaria himself seemed pretty amused at what he was saying--he has young children, so I'm sure he's had to adopt that tone before. (I have been thoroughly unimpressed with the website comments so far, but I admit to being a bit of a snob when it comes to relevant contributions. Chalk it up to seminar classes.)
Anyways, both of those occurred within 24 hours of each other, Monday night and Tuesday afternoon. Talk about weird! Reminded me that I'm so glad of this place, I've come home to Tara! Love y'all, mean it!

awww!
I've often wondered at how we've all found each other. A veritably free speech forum is so rare and I'm so glad to be part of it!!

It is almost like a community here - That may have something to do with it; we "live" here and want to treat our neighbors like we want to be treated. ?

I don't know if any of you have seen the reports about Woodruff and Vogt getting hurt in Iraq. (I'm kind of surprised at the attention this is getting, certainly not to belittle the men but they aren't the first.) Each of them married with several children (the cameraman has three girls, Woodruff has four kids)--I watch "This Week with George Stephanopoulos", and the ABC people, especially Martha Radditz, were kind of shaky. Smart move not doing the "Voices" or "Funnies" this episode. But thoughts/prayers/sympathies to the men, their families, and everybody else over there right now.

I finally got my braces off! What a relief I can eat a pizza again. My teeth are straight but I'll always have to wear a retainer. It took one and half years of hard work but I like the outcome. I also got my hair cut this week and I get more comments on my short do than on my braces coming off. I don't think anyone noticed!
