Back at ya, Barb Just curious, do all of you UK Christian's do the paper crowns and crackers? I've been seeing them in shops in my town for the first time (with the exception of specialty shops, they've always had them.) I wonder if they'll become a regular part of US holiday traditions, too. I love crackers, but I don't know what the tradition with them is. Do you hand them out or hide them in the tree branches?

HAPPY NEW YEAR At my home, we have christmas crackers around the dinner table and we pull them before we eat. Then we have to wear the paper crowns/hats as we eat and during the afternoon quiz. Wendy Hugs

LOL. No, its not about Tony Blair. An afternoon quiz is something that I organise for my family and friends to take part in. Each year it has a different theme, for example this year it was Film and TV. I buy a prize and wrap it up like a christmas present and then whoever gets the most points/questions correct wins the prize. It used to just be a quiz with no prize whilst my mum slept from cooking the dinner but it changed. I don't know whether its a British thing, or just something that we do. Wendy Hugs
