So, what was it?
Mine is MANOS: HANDS OF FATE. The best, worst, and one can hope only movie made by an insurance salesman from Houston, Texas. So bad that even the guys at MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 gave up.

Nacho Libre. My daughter REALLY wanted to see it, so I checked it out on the parental movie review site I belong to...there were a few inappropriate scenes, but ok...we took her to see it.
I wanted to stick a fork in my eyes.
(And yes, there were adults in the audience, and they were laughing. WITH the movie, not AT it. I guess they are the same people who make pro wrestling so popular.)

The worst movie I ever paid money to see in a theater that had a big budget & big named star was Van Helsing with the hunky Hugh Jackman.
Jackman & that British actress (her name escapes me) couldn't save this boring clunker. Good special effects, but it was so ridiculous how the plot moved along. Like a kid wrote it & just kept adding scenes with their favorite monsters.

Star Wars Christmas Special. (I can agree with you on Borat, I completely failed to see the attraction But then I was completely sick of Sacha Baron Cohen by about season two of Ali G)

I didn't see Borat, But on the top of my head. I have seen some bad ones on TV. But movies I paid to go see. Would be Flowers in the Attic, tops the list. I loved VC andrews books. And when this one came out couldn't wait to go see it. It was a flop.

Well I'd have to choose "Plan 9 From Outer Space"...since I haven't seen Manos. Star Wars Christmas Special. - The guys over at rifftrax are making a rifftrax for it. I'm so excited I can't wait to see this infamous disaster!

They were supposed to make the rest of them I thought.

There is (or was at one time) an extract posted on YouTube, but I wouldn't recommend anyone track it down. It is that bad. Plan 9, however, is fantastic! ;D

I loved the mansion the movie was filmed in. Hey Untitled, What episode to Goren say "your swollen pride assumes respect!"

oh, worst movie for me
"Meet Joe Black" with Brad Pitt... It was long and boring, the last 10 minutes Brad is staring starry eyed at Claire Forlani's character. ahhhhh!!!
