No, see...not a hyena, a wolf! Very interesting observation, given Metella's thread about the wolf kill. I wonder if Warren Leight is playing the part of the Idaho Governor on us, and writing Goren as a not-so-protected endangered species? Is there still room--and welcome--on NBC's prime time landscape for the lone wolf known as Goren?

No, see...wolves are incongurous because they seem to combine the canine and feline--two dangerous, alien natures, enemies and companions. Goren is lupine. The Goren of past seasons seemed to be in control, and even delight in, this great war. Season 5 and 6 Goren is showing us a creature splitting apart, losing the delicate battle...
