Kudos to various members, including Observer, Pat, Sirenna, NikkiGreen, and Criminal Mastermind. I'm very glad that it showcased this site.
I'm glad to hear that NBC recommended this board as well as Universal/SUSA. It says a lot about this board and its dedicated members, who maintain a consistently high level of quality conversations about the show.
I wish the article were longer and more comprehensive, and I too will check to see if the print version is extended. I understand, however, that the final version was probably limited in word count, and probably got edited heavily.
Thanks for the updates Observer and Pat.

Interesting, but that can't be the whole article? Where's quotes from Observer? And he made a mistake by quoting something as being said by me when I neither talked to him or said what he said I said.

OMgosh! I was quoted.
I feel ridiculously pleased about that. ;D
It was fun to read the article. He dug a little deeper than most would with the interviews. He could have just quoted our posts. They're not copyrighted. At least he picked quotes that balance us out as regular, successful people instead of fans, or should I say, FANS!!! Remember that article for GQ, anyone?
Hopefully the rest of the article has the same tone.

I am very pleased for you, Sirenna, and for us. You represented us well in that quote I was also a bit surprised that Observer's quote wasn't attributed to her, but not so much that the article was brief. It is actually longer than I expected. If the print version is different, I hope some kind sole (Metella ) will fill us in on what's missing. Funny to see how many members we got out of the vote compared to how many we got out of the article! Our private little community is not so private anymore. Don't take that the wrong way, new people. I welcome you... all twenty-something of you

I've flirted with journalism in my life, so I'm a bit aware of the constraints the reporter had to deal with. The article in print isn't different from the one online, and I think it's clear he was interested in the fans' reaction to the online voting. It would have been nice if he had been able to discuss what fans actually like about LOCI, but that wasn't the point of the story.

Actually, there was a quote from me, but in the first section, where he was giving samples of initial reactions off the boards, not quotes from interviews. He didn’t credit the excerpt from the other person’s post there, either. The excerpt that he used that he credited to you was probably an honest mistake. I’ve really noticed that when you copy posts off the boards and paste them into a document it can be confusing. It’s a bit hard to tell who wrote what post until you get used to it. Most likely one of your posts followed the post he quoted, and he got confused about which name went with that post. And I know it really was a post on some board, because I remember reading it. I just don’t remember who wrote it.
