I enjoyed it very much! From beginning to end, I was sitting on the edge of my seat.
Oh Frank what a sleeze he turned out to be, trying to pick his mum's bones before she even passes. I was kind of surprised, but not really. He does have gambling issues, I believe. But I also think that when it comes to deaths in families, somehow or another the familiy skeltons ALWAYS seem to emerge. So I found the storyline a bit believable.
I feel Eames looked beautiful and professional with her hair pulled up.
Ok, off to rewatch it again, but I thought it was fantastic!

Captain Ross is his best-friend-in-disguise I think so too!! Ross is a great guy!

I suspect (nwchimom) that the "shippy" moments with Eames of late have likewise been included for the fans' enjoyment. I'm not sure I can wait all week, let alone all summer, for this to be resolved. I suppose that I should remind myself that it's just a tv show *s*

He's taken such a blow - can he ever get back on his feet? I wonder if this is the arc in the story - the moment just before sysiphus comes to realise he can roll the stone uphill. He must, yes, because it's his burden to bear. But that he CAN. Unwilling hope.
Poor Bobby is bowed and bloody. My heart goes out.

I think Ross has the unenviable job of keeping the MCS at peak performance and at the same time keeping Bobby on an even keel. No easy feat. Ross has become over time a something of a friend. Liking him more and more.

I think that the Wally scenes may also have been there to provide contrast with the Goren and Frank scenes--different kinds of "brothers" for Goren. Just a theory.
I suspect that this season may be seen more kindly in future years. There have been quite a few interesting ideas (even if I'm not so sure about the writing).

Wally! Wally! Wally!
Now we know, Bobby did become his pen pal after all!! And NO NW this season (unless she somehow turns up next week)! I can live all summer till next season. Now if they can just somehow recreate Harvey and Marion! Will post more once I rewatch.

Oh did anyone recognize Trudy (J Smith Cameron) from the episode "Poison"? She was Brady's victim from the fishing cabin that pretended to like the strangling, which saved her life.

LOL! Sobergal!
Deathroe: yes, to say the episodes have run the gamut on a critical scale would be an understatement! Brother's Keeper, TWAS, this one, Weeping Willow were terrific and would stand proudly against any other LO:ci seaons one and two included. Such a dichotomy in quality from week to week storywise. It's like watching two different shows - one named jekyll and one named hyde.

Man, what's wrong with me, I should be sleeping. I'm only going to get four hours of sleep tonight. *smacks self in head*
I just want to jump in and agree quickly about two things--
1. KE- the hair was amazing up, so beautiful. I can't wait to make icons. She was great tonight. There are so many things that I want to say about the Bobby cell phone comment and how Alex stood up for him.... oh, and what about how she trusted him. I'll save that for tomorrow, though.
2. Ross- Yes, yes! I hated him for so long and now, he really surprised me tonight. I am also liking him more. I thought that he was going to flip at first.
Okay, off to sleep.

how did we all (shippers and non-shippers) take Eames' expression when Bobby commented that Frank thought she was his girlfriend??
I must keep reminding myself that this IS just a tv show *s*

Ok, I do have one question for tonight. I feel like an idiot for being confused, but here goes: Frances made it seem like the thing with "Uncle Mark" was consensual, but Frank talked about the "car accident" after she went upstate with Brady, and Bobby told Alex his mom was never the same after that (but how would he know? He didn't remember any of it.) So, was Frances having an affair with Brady, or did he attack her? Or both?
ETA: Nevermind. Obviously they were having an affair if he might be Bobby's dad. But what about the supposed car accident? Do we think she was attacked?

Well, I wasn't crazy about the destination--or lack thereof--but the trip was something else. For God's sake, would someone please give Mr. D'Onofrio something--some award?
And I don't think Frank's question about his mother's finances was necessarily self-serving--it probably was--but it might have been a question that he was genuinely concerned about it.

Also liked Moreno's "One death row visit is as good as another"--little intertextual moment with Oz, perhaps?
I must quit obsessing about this show and go to sleep.
