Why was my post about another VDO website removed from under Vincent's category?

It wasn't removed from the forum. It was moved to the The Squad Room, where there are similar threads.

I noticed that for the last couple of episode polls I created, I couldn't post unless I put something in the message box. I don't recall having to do that for prior polls. Am I having a *premature* senior moment?

It's part of the V4 upgrade. With V3 you could post an empty post, but the new software doesn't allow it.

CM, Could you clean up the Semi-Detached thread? There are two or three pages of non-ep talk. Thank you.

I read the semi-detached thread and there are about half a dozen or so posts that talk about the uni-board but I'm personally fine with that digress. It gets back on track pretty quickly. I'd only be in to censoring posts if they talk about the show peoples' personal lives or were personal attacks against other board members.
I'm not sure I'm on board with the double threads cropping up lately on past episodes. What's wrong with pulling up and adding to existing threads on those eps?

That digress was my fault.
Edit ...
But, some things need to be said so that they don't build and turn bad later. So, I'm not sorry. But it's okay with me if the posts are deleted.

I see no reason for you to apologize, Trisha.
A little bit of diversion is not necessarily a bad thing. And as Sirenna mentioned above, the thread got back on track rather quickly.
Now, if a thread goes completely off base, then it is another matter.
I also do not see a reason for deleting any of the posts, this late in the day.

I agree, I speak up for leaving it as it makes the thread seem more like a conversation & as long as we get back to it in a reasonable time frame ..... however, I caught myself going off on a thread & seeing that the new topic was taking on a life - put a note and created a new thread - so I see that it needed asked about maherjunkie; and will take that as a reminder that I need to be sharper with my tangets & pull them off to new threads quicker.
We have double epi posts! How horrible.

We have double epi posts! How horrible. I agree. ;-D So far no duplicate conversations but talk about tempting fate to kick a dead horse AGAIN.

Keeping up a board like this must cost $$$. Should I ever be struck by a fit of generosity, (or a bigger paycheck) how would I be able to donate? thank you.

This may have been asked and answered already, but please bear with me....i've wanted the answer for a while and this is my first time going for it....much to my dismay there are 9 pgs here and I'm sleepy....so....
Why is there no "back to top" thing on each of these?....or atleast at the bottom of each page?
Thanks Duet
