Seems Ausiello says there will be a pregnant character on the season finale. He won't say who, but says the people who have been wanting Stabler and Benson together will be interested. All I can say is ewwwww. Dam NYPD must make a lot, Stabler got 4 kids to support already.

This is what I dislike about SVU--its lack of subtlety. Everything is hammered into the audience's head; everything is spelled out. But, clearly I'm in the minority.

Maybe it's not Mariska. maybe it's Stabler's ex? She pregnant with another man's child? Or his?

I don't think he and dani' ever actually slept together, after the kiss they got interupted, he got hurt his wife showed up. Then dani left the squad. They never showed yet if him and his wife got back together yet. But Stabler and Olivia I would say that would make me stop watching. Munch and Olivia would be better, lol, just joking.

Maybe it's Mariska again. Don't laugh .... My daughter was four months old when I conceived my middle son. I was under the misconception that you couldn't get pregnant while nursing.

Not to make light of a subject like pregnancy, but this is an interesting choice of word. Reminds me of a routine by George Carlin, but I know better and won't go there.

Question: If you can't tell us who is pregnant on SVU, can you at least tell us who the father is? Please?— Sam Ausiello: OK, that I can do: Stabler's the daddy. Everyone happy now?

From Ask Ausiello Thanks for the info, ragin. Great. It has to be his wife. So now, does he go back home for good? Boring

Man needs to get a vasectomy, how much do cops make? This will be kid #5. Wife don't work, got a kid in college. As of yet wife didn't take him back, guess she does and wham bam. But I don't know what the big deal about a pregnant wife would be. Guess we will have to wait and see.

I can't believe I'm reviving this because I'm avoiding grading, but--now that we know who was pregnant--what did you all think of the last episode, which I haven't seen yet, but that isn't stopping me? Was it cute or was it soap? Or was it both? (btw Elliot is Catholic. Don't think he can get one of those ... )

I saw it yesterday, love that DVR. This is not my favorite show, so understand that up front. This was so soapy I barely made it through. Saw the car crash on commercial, so I decided to record it. It looked good. First if this were a real group of cops, those two would have been fired. They talked paternity in public (the station) and a man who didn't know his wife was pregnant by another man finds out. This sets up an awful list of things, all caused by their big mouths. In this age of privacy, (I know it is only a tv show) it was a dumb mistake, that cost a woman her life. Yet I am sure since Elliot and his wife just had a difficult time...all will be forgiven. UGH. Please LOCI don't make this mistake...please, please...

I watched this because a) a website I like admired and recommended this episode and b) nothing else was on. I needed a shower to rinse off the soap. But kudos to Mr. Meloni and Ms. Hargarity for performances that shone clearly through the suds. They must be great actors to act so clearly through all the suds.

I was under the misconception that you couldn't get pregnant while nursing. - I've heard it's that much easier to get pregnant right after you've just been preggers. Man needs to get a vasectomy, how much do cops make? This will be kid #5. Wife don't work - I thought Kathy was a nurse. For the issues between Elliot and his wife, I really didn't see any of them being solved. But since you all are talking about the car crash episode I thought I'd like to point out how badly hurt Kathy was, while Olivia didn't have a scratch on her. Not a scratch, bruise. Nothin.
