Any one else see the trialer on youtube? Sure looks like Vincent is in it in a cameo. Don't see that he's credited either.

I just hope that the scene is actually in the movie............not an outtake or something that landed on the cutting room floor. Proves he doesn't need to see his name "in lights", he does parts just for the "love of the craft". Looks like a good movie. Love Etta James singing "At Last" (Beyonce)

The reel has this clip available on its site. It's definitely Mr. D'Onofrio in the trailer, and one of the posters there noted that the director of the film (I think) has directed LOCI episodes in the past. I suspect Mr. D'Onofrio is doing an uncredited cameo for a friend.
This could be a terrific movie. Great cast, from what little I know of Chess Records a great story, and great music.

Well, I finally got to see "Cadillac Records" this weekend - twice! Vincent played an unsavory, disc jockey, who accepted bribes and called Muddy Waters' music "race music", as it was called then. This is another role where he shows his nickname "The Human Chameleon" is apt. He displayed not a trace of any other character he's played in the past. It was fun to see him, even if it was only in two scenes. And his scenes made a point - showing what agents had to do to get early, black rock and roll music on the airwaves during a time of segregation in the USA.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie itself. The actors - Adrien Brody (Len Chess), Jeffery Wright(Muddy Waters), Columbus Short (Little Walter), Mos Def (Chuck Berry) all put in excellent performances, bringing the story to life. But Beyonce Knowles was incredible as Etta James...absolutely incredible!
I want to mention, Eric Bogosian played a disc jockey also in two scenes. His short scenes pointed out how the black artist was discriminated against in the business as well. And Tammy Blanchard, who played Sarah in the LOCI episode "Tomorrow" played an agent trying to push Muddy Waters music to Vincent's character in a strictly business manner.
This is a movie well worth watching, not only for Vincent fans, but also for the story and the history of it, showing a struggle of black men and women I had never been aware of before. To top it off, the music was great!
