I have *finally* seen this movie!! :squeals like a fangurl: I bought a Region 2 DVD through AxelMusic, received it today. I thought I'd have to buy a region-free DVD player, but on a whim, I popped it into the DVD player on my computer - and my computer gave me the option to change the region setting - so I pressed the R2 choice, prayed lol, and it played. I then proceeded to do a full-on snoopy happy dance ;D Vincent was wonderful! I need to view it again (and again) to absorb all of it but I found it to be a thought-provoking and disturbing film. I'm just overjoyed to have seen it finally. Now I need to focus on finding "Taking of Pelham." A Vincent fan's work is never done - not that I'm obsessed or anything lol

GUY is really, really hard to find, and I know the few videotapes and DVDS that pop up on EBAY and toher places tend to be very expensive. Many also are pirate editions, so buyers beware!

Sometimes the Sundance Channel will air Guy. That's how I got it. I did not have digital TV, but when I saw that Guy was on their schedule, I ordered it from my cable company and was able to tape it when it came on. In that basic digital package I also got IFC (Independent Film Channel). I have taped Household Saints from that one. Both channels have great movies and shows without commercials on regularly, so the additional monthly charge is worth it for me. I am always on the lookout for a VDO movie. If Guy comes up I will let you all know.

I made an appointment with H & R Block to have my taxes done this week. The woman who usually does them was unavailable. The receptionist set me up with someone else. When I asked his name, she replied "Guy". Guess who I thought of immediately!
Should I bring my video camera? lol

LOL Susan. ;D I dated a fellow named Guy for a few months when I was single, in my early 20's. He was the best friend of my best friend's fiance. He was very nice, had a great job, good looking etc.. But there was no chemistry, at least not on my part. I forgot about that connection. Leave it to Susan to refresh my memory.

Neither was mine at H & R Block, but he was a nice "Guy" and did help me save some money! ;D

What is the latest consensus? S P O I L E R Did Guy drown? He had to. Why would he play these games with her, he was too honest & open & caring (the reasons she took advantage of him). Anyone care to give an opinion? BTW, I wish we had a spoiler feature

I disagree someone was filming her at the end, and I doubt it was that guy she met in the parking lot. And he was a strong swimmer.

This is a good film to discuss because the ending leaves a lot to wonder about. Nothing really solid to point to. I think she was not being filmed. She was over the edge and imagining it. I think Guy swam far enough along the shoreline and escaped her obsessive behavior towards him. Not sure about the west coast but on the east coast if you just float along out past the breakers the tide will move you along the shoreline and you can wind up quite a distance away.

Other than on Ebay, is there any way to purchase this movie??? If you know, I would appreciate it. I would like to see this movie, I can't find it anywhere. I don't have Sundance channel or Showtime (don't know if they have ever shown it). If you know when it might be on one of those channels, I'd like to record it. Thanks all...
