The Rocchi Files: The AFI Dallas Film Festival! There are many other notable films playing AFI Dallas as well, like The Burning Plain, with Charlize Theron; it's the directorial debut of Guillermo Arriga, who's been hailed for screenplays like Babel and 21 Grams. Another AFI Dallas film many are avidly looking forward to is Adam Resurrected, a Holocaust drama from director (and the screenwriter of films like Taxi Driver and American Gigolo) Paul Schrader starring Jeff Goldblum in what many are calling a career-highlight performance. Other AFI Films may not have the star power of names like Diaz and Goldblum and Brody, but they've got something to offer as well. RedblogMarch 27, 2009.
