I need to watch this season finale again to gather my thoughts but know this: it's another superb script from my favorite mothership writing team, Richard Sweren and Gina Gionfriddo.
A number of faces from CI seasons past in this episode too.

I haven't seen the entire episode, so I can't really comment. But seeing the actress who played Nelda in "Semi Detached" was a thrill!
There's a great scene where Lupo suggests to a woman that she might be court ordered to have her breast implants removed since they were purchased with illegal funds. She actually believed him. ;D

OMG! Sam/Jack was fabulous and delivered a speech to the grand jury that made me raise my arm and yell "YES!!" . McCoy's integrity is intact! Waterston still amazes me! And Rene's writing team is on top of their game! A grand finale!

I saw that L&O garnered a top position in ratings from 10pm - 11pm spoilertv.blogspot.com/I liked the episode, quite well done. Although the ending did give a feel of an absolute ending in some ways, now knowing that L&O is renewed for a landmark 20th season. Sam was excellent in this episode as was Linus Roache. I like how he hit the governor with a list of indiscretions (that did not exist)-I feel like I should post a spoiler point there. Everett Scott is given kudos from me, portraying a political figure who cares for nothing but himself, very much like real life. It was superb episode. It made me want for more and that's always a good thing. And yes, the woman who thought her fake implants were in jeopardy, well as an actress, she played clueless well.

What a fantastic finale! Like Susan, I was almost pumping my fist after Jack's speech to the Grand Jury. God, the, man is pure integrity! A polar opposite to the sleazy Shalvoy family. Although did I see a flicker of regret & embarrassment by Shalvoy when Jack was lamenting about who is drowned & who is saved in the quest for political glory?
Since Shalvoy is tailored after former NY Gov. Elliot Spitzer, I almost feel sorry for Spitzer if he ever sees this episode. ;D
Love Tom Everett Scott. I'm sorry he won't be in the show next season. But he had to go down...that's what makes this the Law & Order we love so well.
Connie impressed me at the end when she downed that huge shot of whiskey in one ladylike gulp.
