Techguy, one of the things I have most enjoyed this season is seeing your rating scales. I guess you were so uninspired by this episode that you didn't feel like investing much time in it this week. I was sure it would be something like this A Rock hard abs B One can shy of a sixpack C Needs to spend more time at the gym D Should not be seen without a shirt F Needs to call Jenny Craig right Away!

I gave it a B and I will watch it again. With every viewing of an episode, more is revealed.

Thanks for the compliment Idget.
You are correct. I was so bored, confused, and disappointed by this episode I had no motivation to be clever with the poll options. I should have consulted you before posting this poll because your choices are great!
BTW, I very rarely post my episode grades but I will this time. I gave it a D, and that was being generous. Flat plot, flat Goren, flat villain, characters behaving out of character and/or stupidly...the list goes on and on so I won't repeat what I posted on the episode thread. Add to that no suspense or subtext as Annabelleleigh posted, and all that was left for me was a giant letdown--especially since Eames wore WAAAY too many towels in the sauna.

That is the word Tech Guy "Flat" I couldn't come up with a word to describe Goren or VDO since I am not sure who is doing it. But it seems Jeff is so fresh and perky and now Goren is just like fizzled out soda. In my old age words just aren't coming like they used to, Thanks.

I am late again, since I only just watched the last two eps...Count me in for the little group of still-addicted-positive-thinkers. I gave it a B. I enjoyed some of the lines obviously most of you liked too, enormously. I believe it could have been a pretty good episode with a little bit more care of the writers for details (or less flaws or a better cut - maybe I wonder if the stories make so little sense sometimes because they cut away half of the information we would need.....). I loved the scene in the morgue (yees, I even noticed the little edgy-ness between Rodgers and Ross. You guys have a good influence on me ). And if it would not have been neccessary to read your posts to understand Dukes' motive for hating Hamp so much I would have enjoyed it even more. I begin to find it ennerving that I have to read 15 posts, discussions and analysis to every episode just to kind of get what the writers were up to (IF they were up to anything, that is). And meanwhile I am half-way convinced that this is NOT due to my lack of language. I am really curious about the dubbed version they are going to show on German TV (IF they ever show season 8, *sigh*). Meanwhile, as I just said in the other thread, I am going to have a little session watching all Goren eps again in the correct order tomorrow. I am sure this will improve my attitude towards the next season - and this one... Patcat, I love your positivism. I am the ever-loyal-kind, too and will watch and enjoy (damnit!) every single episode of CI as long as they will run the show....

I think it's merely a question of when, not if. Heck right now they're even airing Season 3 back-to-back Monday nights from 9-11!!

Ohja. I enjoy that, since season 3 is the one I have not yet on DVD and not on my computer. AND they show season 7 on Wednesdays (is it just my feeling or are they showing season 7 for the third time in a row? ) However, the VOX-homepage has no information whatsoever, as usual.....

It's the second repeat of Season 7. I wonder what they'll do once they've aired them all.

I hate to interrupt my string of A's & A+'s, but Duke's denouement left me feeling like I just had to give it a B on the merits of the writing. The acting was, as always, right on point. I'd give the performances an A.
