When asked what charity she was playing for on Jeopardy, this is what Kathryn said:
Kathryn: "I'm playing for Justice Works Community, which is a Brooklyn based group that is an advocacy group for women in the criminal justice system focusing on mothers, women with children in the criminal justice system; and Planned Parenthood of America. And I'm donating in honor of Jeopardy to Trickle Up, which is a foundation that gives seed money to the poorest of the poor all over the world and business education and helps them start their own businesses."
Alex Trebek: "My gosh, you're spreading it around. Good for you."
Kathryn: "I am, as much as I can."
When she said she was donating to Trickle Up, it struck me because she didn't say she was playing for them. I took it to mean that she would be donating her own money 'in honor of Jeopardy' to them. Definite Class Act.
But I was shouting at the tv when she missed the Sherlock Holmes question. I mean answer. I mean question. Darn Jeopardy, the answer in the form of a question nonsense! LOL

Absolutely, but I reckon the tabloid media have a lot to do with that, as well... I mean, for every A-lister in the supermarket magazine racks, there'll be a dozen who just do their thing and get on with their lives...
