So to continue the hilarity of the teen crush talk... Shaun Cassidy wanted me to be his baby...Rick Springfield told me not to talk to strangers...but John Taylor confessed to being hungry like the wolf and I was once bitten, never-shy... Those were the days!! ;D

Oh OBC I still cringe at the hair of the 80's! What were we thinking? And I am strongly suspicious now that MaherJunkie is also responsible for the tragic downfall of Willie Ames, Scott Baio and the 2 Corie's. Fess up MJ!

At least my two crushes, Bobby Sherman and Donny Osmond, haven't embarrassed themselves much. Sherman, by the way, worked for a long time as an EMT for the LAFD. He worked as a volunteer, since he invested his money well and didn't need to be paid.

Patcat, have you been watching Donny Osmond on this season's "Dancing With The Stars?" He's doing great - they are now down to four couples.

First I'd have to remember my teen years. There must be someone I can call. I'll have to get back to you.

I wish I could forget my teen years. The fat girl with thick glasses, bad skin, dressed in black, reading a book--That's me! My skin's both clearer and thicker now(g).
I've not been watching Mr. Osmond on STARS. I gather he's doing pretty well, but he was a decent dancer back with the Osmonds.

Hey now! I thought Scott Baio turned out okay? I am not happy with how Leif turned out, wishing he had followed in Bobby Sherman's footsteps. I thought Cory Feldman had also cleaned himself up. Kathy Griffin says in her book that Leif is a jerk, a further heartbreaker if it is true. I may have destroyed Erik Estrada though.

OMG, Idget, I LOVED his hair! LOL! Wanted to run my fingers through it. No one ever equaled John for me. I took one look at him and forgot everyone else!! You never forget that first wild crush. I saw him live back in '98, at a bar near D.C., and nearly fell down when our eyes connected. I was in the second row!! Then I saw Duran Duran back in '06, but I was nowhere near the stage. I waited twenty years for that show - had tickets in '86 but the show got canceled back then. And it was well worth the wait!! Fabulous show!!

OBC all I can think of about running your fingers thru his hair is all the hair spray you would encounter that was needed to achieve that look! MJ I know I am pretty selective when it comes to TV so maybe I missed them all, but exactly how many series has Scott Baio been on since that wonderful masterpiece know as Charles In Charge? For all you Osmond fans out there I have this to share. A couple of months ago we had a patient who kept singing One Bad Apple. I and another staff person had a debate who sang it first the Jackson 5 or the Osmond's. Though the Osmond's were before my time I was pretty sure it was them because my older sister was an Osmond fan. So we googled it and lo and behold it was sang by the Osmond's first and we discovered this little nugget. I have to say I don't think Nsync has anything on these Guys. www.youtube.com/watch?v=96HqPpjI3UY

Diagnosis Murder. My criteria was he just didn't go crazy. Though those who date Pam Anderson usually do from the syphyllis alone.

Idget bows before the TV goddess Maherjunkie. I must say I have never seen Diagnosis Murder, guess our TV was tuned to Murder She Wrote. Also don't forget Hepatitis C! Miss Anderson is the gift that keeps on giving.

Idget, thanks for thr trip down memory lane with The Osmonds Youtube video. That's exactly how I remember them in concert at The Garden back in the day. And I knew as a fan that they sang "One Bad Apple" first. I think it was their first hit single, am I right? Patcat?
