I had no idea it was behind Fox. I knew it was doing bad. But that's horrible.

And I just saw a photo of the snowboarding venue in Vancouver. It's about 75 percent dirt. They've gotta be sweating bullets at 30 Rock, especially since the characters in their salvation (ladies figure skating) are less than riveting. Look for even more attention to be paid to Johnny Weir so they can try to get something out of this, what, $810 million investment. Imagine if they had spent a fraction of that to pay certain actors we can think of and a few writers, too ...

Thanks Patcat. A very interesting article. It's about time that NBC realized that going cheap gets you nowhere. I hope some of these new shows make it.
I also hope that they realize a new show needs a chance to form an audience. That pulling a new show after 6 episodes or so is penny wise, pound foolish.

Bah! NBC illustrates the saying about repeating the same thing over and over, hoping for a different outcome next time.
Just as there are third world countries, NBC is the TV equivalent. A third rate network that keeps recycling the same old failed formulas hoping for a different outcome next time.
