BTW, what's up with the Canadiens' fans booing the US national anthem? How rude and boorish that was last night. ( Sadly, it's a cheap ploy to piss off Americans; fueled by testoterone, the group factor and one too many pint of beer. And I lost my frickin' mind last night when the Canadiens beat the Caps or should I say when Halak beat the Caps last night!

Mrs. T is in panic mode. I'm staying well the heck out of her way and out of the TV room tomorrow for Game 7.

CI Season 9 is coming to a close and there's a long hot summer ahead. How are the board members who live in the Northeast coping with the heat?
This thread has been idle for a while so now is as good a time as any to revive it. A new life coming into the world is definitely good reason for rejoicing and inclusion in All Good Things. Here are a few pics from a christening last week that I hope eveyone enjoys. Bonus points for anyone who correctly guesses who and what all this is about.

Yes it was Mimi. You, more than any other board member here, might be able to figure out this mystery.

Thanks Techguy! The cupola on top of the church was a good hint, but I had doubts when I saw the fully dressed baby. Are congratulations in order or are these pictures generics?

Ha! No, congratulations are not in order for me!
Hint: these are photos Mrs. T allowed me to share. There are more of the ceremony and people involved, but if I posted them the mystery Godfather would be revealed too quickly. ;D

It is a hockey reference! This is the christening of Ilya Nikulin's son. Alex Ovechkin is the godfather!

Sirenna, the boy being baptized is so big because his parents waited until he was 6 months old for the christening. Mrs. T and I assume that's because his father and godfather were too preoccupied playing hockey!
Speaking of hockey and All Good Things...training camp should commence in about a month. And soon thereafter, as the autumn leaves begin to fall, the NY Rangers and Washington Capitals will take over our world for my wife and me.
