I saw a similar thread on the USA discussion board, and thought it was perhaps time for us as well.
What are your favorite Goren and Eames moments?
Patcat (who, of course, has her own answer to this question)

So many wonderful exchanges to choose from . But I have to say that one of my favorites is from "Siren Call," when Brooke Shield's drunken husband hits on Eames. When Goren tries to stop him, he takes a swing at him. Goren then puts him in a hold and he and Eames arrest him.

Not ranked, just in order chronologically by episode air date:
--tag-teaming Henry Talbot in Jones --the shoe shopping scene in Anti-Thesis --tag-teaming and confronting Wally Stevens in Probability --walking in on Mr. Speedos in Zoonotic --the Goren dance and G/E confronting Marion Talbot and Harvey Gruenwald on stage for the Unrequited aria

Playing good cop, bad cop with Cookie Caspari in "Phantom."
The "take your Mutt and Jeff routine and leave" scene in "Badge." Their are several other good ones in that episode as well.
The courtroom scene in "The Wee Small Hours."

Those are several of my favorites, Techguy. I like it when Goren tries to get protective of Eames without showing it too much. He knows she can take care of herself, but he wants to protect everybody, but especially his partner.
I also like it when she challenges him. When she tells him "You have to get out now" when he's in the Ferrari, or "What did you think this was, a a catch and release program?"

I have to say that one of my favorites is from "Siren Call," when Brooke Shield's drunken husband hits on Eames. When Goren tries to stop him, he takes a swing at him. Goren then puts him in a hold and he and Eames arrest him. - I love that scene. When she tells him "You have to get out now" when he's in the Ferrari - He looks so disappointed at that. I like when he mentions to the criminal he can't explain himself in 'mixed' company. PurgatoryWhen Goren & Eames draw there guns on each other. AmendsWhen Eames admits to Bobby that after Joe died she didn't have a place in their friend's circle anymore. FaithfullyWhen Goren picks up Eames from Staten Island and she says he looks good. PrisonerWhen Eames asks the secretary (?, been a while since I've seen the episode) questions about the Warden if anyone had been stalking him..etc... And Goren is listening in the back but Eames notices he's restless and she points out the bookcases without so much as a word. LoyaltyThe kiss the hug. ;D

Oh here's a good one.
Beast When Goren figures out how the victim got poisoned. And he tells Eames without saying a word. LOVE IT!

Ummm... all the freakin' eyesex. Amends- When Alex walks in on him going through Joe's casefile and he actually calls her 'Alex' Ladies Man-When Bobby tells her that he's worried. She looks at him with her hurt brown eyes and asks "For me?" Brother's Keeper-When Frank calls Alex Bobby's wife. I forget which ep it is, but when Francis says she wants to meet Bobby's "girlfriend" meaning Alex Albatross-Bobby asks if they're ok and Alex says "I hope so." That's such a tense, loaded moment.

That moment in BROTHER'S KEEPER where Frank mistakes what kind of a "Partner" Alex is (I don't remember that he called her Bobby's wife, but I could be wrong) was to Bobby said a lot to me. Not necessarily that Bobby and Alex are romantically involved, but that Frank couldn't see a woman as a professional partner and equal to a man.

Ladies Man-When Bobby tells her that he's worried. She looks at him with her hurt brown eyes and asks "For me?" - Speaking of Lady's man. I found it quite interesting of all the questions that Bobby had he asked Alex if she had slept with him. And not if she had been in a relationship with him. Or if she'd had feelings for him. Brother's Keeper-When Frank calls Alex Bobby's wife. How about when he says that and both of them look back at Alex and above her head is a truck that says: "Your Heart" on it. I don't know if it was intentional or not but I'd like to buy into it. Your Heart imageI forget which ep it is, but when Francis says she wants to meet Bobby's "girlfriend" meaning Alex - From Endgame. & I was just thinking about that moment. - He asked Bobby if that was his wife.
I was watching Context the other day and something struck me as odd. When Goren & Eames are walking to a hotel room - Eames asks the manager if he's seen their suspect. By showing him some photos. There's some more non verbal communication going on between them. Then she smells one of the gloves before she puts them on her hands...I don't even know why I'm mentioning this. I just thought it was...interesting.

I loved the non verbal way they communicated, just a look and they were on track, good team work and a lot of soft smiles ( at least in the good old days of the early years). There was a lot of comfort between them, a true friendship in every way. I MISS THEM!

Detective Alexandra Eames: When I was a kid, I used to dream about living on a horse farm. Detective Robert Goren: That's a nice dream - for a horse.
Or the scene where they are pretending to be parents sat in the park

I love the scene in the artist's studio in Shrink-Wrapped when she hisses at him. Cracks me up every time!
