A couple of press wireservices are reporting that NBC will pick up the mothership for a 21st season and will also air LAW AND ORDER: LA next season.

Nice if the mothership gets a S21 but the thought of L&O:LA makes me gag a bit.

I think a L&O LA would be cool as long as they cast "real" type actors for the roles. Nothing is worse to me then some supermodel type who can't act getting a plum role.

It's a miracle we don't have "Tori Spelling: Private Eye" as is.

What was that series Angie Dickinson was in several years ago? Shudder...

That's what I'm afraid it will look like, lovebug. A bunch of Hollywood plastic encased in designer clothing. MJ, if they cast Tori Spelling, it's all over!

I think that was Policewoman, Patcat. And there was that horror of horrors in movie theaters called Pistol Packin' Mama...or did that go straight to cable??? LOL!

That's it, OBC. I think that show singlehandedly set back the women's movement at least five years.

Ladies you are making me laugh...oh no! Now I can't get the image of Tori Spelling playing an airhead detective with a stripper name out of my head. Excuse me, gotta barf now... ;D

Actually, a series featuring an Eames like detective dealing with the pressures of undercover work could be very good, although I can't see any of the networks handling it with the intelligence and sensitivity needed to keep it from being exploitive. I'm kinda interested in this new USA program called COVERT OPERATIONS or something like that about a new female CIA agent.

Covert Operations has the chick from Coyote Ugly. The first article I saw about it had a picture of her showing some very prominent cleavage. I fear it'll be another TV "T&A" trap designed to get those randy young men to tune in.
I'm not watching USA's original programming so I'll have to read other's reviews of it to see if it is really any good.

In its way, Charlie's Angels broke a lot of ground, I just never watched it.

I will confess to having been an avid watcher of Charlie's Angels. One of my favorites as a kid.
