Fall.
I love fall. Winter without the ice and snow. Summer without the heat and humidity. Spring without the rain and the threat of summer. The World Series. Colorful trees. Apples. Sleeping under piles of blankets (and, in my case, piles of cats). Hot chocolate. Hot cider. Pumpkins. Scary movies. Sweaters. Ah, yes, fall.

I am going to print that out - wonderful words, patcat! I am a fall-person, too. My birthday, our anniversary, pumpkin season, and, ah, something you probably don't have over there: The season of "Besenwirtschaften", small restaurants with a temporary license to sell new wine and onion quiche, hmmmmmmmmmmm. Oh, yes, and on Halloween we actually celebrate Reformation day (I do both!) ;D
So, what's your favourite pumpkin recipe?

I love fall too. Football, tailgating, flowerpots with big yellow and orange mums, bonfires down by the creek. Though I don't think we'll have bonfires any time soon. As Patcat can attest, we've had a very hot and dry summer. I'm worried about sending the trees up in flames. I like to make a big pot of chili on a cool day. I like to go to the apple orchard where I always seem to buy fudge. Apples and fudge. Another good thing about fall.
I like pumpkin pie cake. It's easy.
