I probably enjoyed this episode more then the rest. Skeet's character (still don't know their show names) showed more emotion in this episode and seemed less like a cardboard character. Con't to enjoy Pornstache. Liked the Terrence Howard character more in this episode though Molina is still my favorite. I could have done without the digression of the US Govt. trying to take over, although it was good to see what Robbie's dad has been up to . I would have liked to have seen more of the trial. I can understand why the ADA decided not to try them for the terrorist act, but I am not sure if I agree with it. Though they unintentionally killed two children, they had every intention of killing hundreds of people including children, which to my way of thinking is just as bad.

I also liked Terrence Howard better in this episode. Especially when he dropped the terrorist charges and focused on the murder of the kids. Bravo.
I guess Peter Coyote is only showing up every other episode to butt heads with Howard. Good. I'm not enjoying his character.
Continue to love the two Detectives. Winter's being a former jarhead explains his rigidness.

I can't say I enjoy the Peter Coyote character, either. And I found Terrence Howard a bit over the top again, though I do agree that it was smart of his character to drop the terrorist charges in order to cut their defense out from under them.
Also, that beginning just killed me. Even knowing it was going to happen from the previews and the usual L&O tact with dealing with graphic or suggestive imagery, that was pretty gutting. Focusing on those kids and getting justice for them first and foremost just felt right.
Though, again, not that I want to see TH tear up, at least he did it in places where I was right with him.
