It's pretty sad that the only mention I heard about International Women's Day was from my family. Never heard it on radio or tv, newspaper... My sister-in-law sent me this link though to this cool video of Daniel Craig & Judi Dench (her voice) supporting International Women's Day. Check it out. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkp4t5NYzVM

Thanks for your post Allie drawing attention to the fact that it was International Women’s Day yesterday.
I thought the video a tour de force for female advocacy - turning “James Bond” into a female with the voice-over of “Ms Moneypenny” was very compelling, especially as this is a very misogynistic film franchise.
Considering this is the twenty-first century, the statistics are, sadly, mind-boggling and thought-provoking. Necessary points were made about gender equality in society whilst Daniel Craig gets your visual attention.
I hope to see in Season Ten of LO:CI the character of Eames actually solving a case, Goren “back-seat”, with her even taking the lead in the “aria” convicting the prime suspect. Oh, perish the thought - she’s only a woman and the interrogation room is the man's domain!

Thanks for sharing the video Alliehalliwell! I agree Jeffan! I would love to see Eames in the lead! V-day is a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. I plan to attend a benefit performance of "The Vagina Monologues" in my area soon. There are many events across the U.S. and around the world. www.vday.org/home
