Written by Marygrace O’Shea, Siobhan Byrne O’Connor, Peter Blauner, and Warren Leight. Directed by Tom Dicillo.

Synopsis: A priest’s revelations lead to troubles for Logan and Wheeler.
Chris Noth’s final (to date) appearance as Detective Mike Logan.
Quotes:
Ross: “That doesn’t mean she put the wrong man in prison this time.” Logan: “But if she did, she’d keep him there before she’d admit to a mistake.” Ross: “You’re sounding like this is personal, Logan.” Logan: “It’s not personal. I just can’t stand the woman.”
Father Shea: “Take cared of yourself, detective, and may God watch over you.” Logan: “That ought to keep him busy.”
Ross: “What’s the matter? You miss Staten Island?”
Queries:
How good of a sendoff is this for Mike Logan and Chris Noth?
What is Logan doing now?
How do you think Logan reacted to Ross’ death?
How did Wheeler react to Ross’ death?
Does Logan know what happened to Goren? Eames? Wheeler?
Could, should, have Ross done more to protect Logan? Would Deakins have offered him better protection?
Would any ADA have this kind of power?
Did this ADA ever get what she deserved?
I miss Ron Carver. Was he the only ethical ADA?
What happened to Wheeler’s fiancé? Does he know about the baby?
Why did Logan leave the NYPD and Goren cling to it?
Comments:
Ah, Mike Logan. We just get to know you and like you (I’m sorry—I wasn’t a frequent viewer of the Mothership), and you go away. I came to really like both the character and the actor, but there’s a great irony that Logan got a better send-off than Goren and Eames.
