Or Goren could stalk through the squad room with a sword - now that, no matter how out of character, I would like to see.
How about a spoof episode - it could fit in one of those; I don't believe L&O has ever done a spoof episode!?

;D *Snerk* THAT would be something I'd PAY to see! Goren with a sword, I could actually see him swinging it... showing it off for some reason--and almost taking some poor grey-haired detective's head off! *giggle* Give him an all black suite, black shirt and tie and black ray-ban glasses...and a BIG gun....a lil "Pulp Fiction" style.... *laugh*

I don't watch CSI either, but I could be persuaded to tune in to the Tarantino directed season finale for the opportunity to join the gab fest afterward.
As for Tarantino directing a CI episode, it would have to be none other than "Kill Nicole: The Final Chapter" *wishing and hoping for some Det. Goren swordplay*

Has anyone seen the new tv guide? It seems they are gonna hook up Catherine and Warrick. And the producer said "before CSI ends, someone will have sex."

No word on the finale date yet for CSI: Original. Here is a little blurb from the CSIFILES website. * * S P O I L E R S * * When Quentin Tarantino is directing, there's no telling what to expect. But TV Guide this week revealed fans can definitely expect one thing: for this season to end with a cliffhanger. The news that Tarantino would direct the season finale merged with a long time rumor about front man William Petersen leaving the show, creating massive speculation about the fate of Gil Grissom. But despite his knack for blood, gore, danger, the producers insisted Tarantino is not out to 'Kill Gil'. "We have no intention of killing Gil," executive producer Carol Mendelsohn told TV Guide. "We joked about calling it 'Kill Gil,' but that's really just a pun." Gil Grissom is safe for now, but another character may not be so lucky. Mendelsohn revealed the season finale will put one of the characters in an unspecified life or death situation, and fans may have to wait until next season to learn the news of the character's fate. When asked which character might be taking the plunge, the producer only said one thing: "a member of Grissom's team." The CSI graveyard shift was split into two teams in the episode "Mea Culpa" due to a mistake in overlooking evidence. Recently promoted Catherine Willows now leads the swing shift, with Warrick and Nick in her team, while Grissom leads the graveyard shift, which includes Greg, Sara, and recurring character Sofia Curtis. Massive cliffhangers are uncharacteristic of CSI, which is famous for easing into summer hiatuses quietly. Previous season finales have left plotlines open for resolution – Grissom's hearing loss in season three and his relationship with Sara in season four – but this is the first time the writers will leave a character's fate hanging in the air. The original blurb for this article can be found in this week's TV Guide. Thanks to Lysette van Erp for this! www.csifiles.com/news/080305_03.shtmlD.

The finale, Grave Danger is this week. It starts at 8:00PM.
Its two hours long and, apparently its a race against time as one of the CSI's is kidnapped and buried alive.

SPOILER ALERT Yes, apparently it is Nick who is buried alive, Tarantino seems to liek this as he did this in Kill Bill 2, I will have to wait for awhile to see the finale as in the UK but I cannot wait, the CSI shows are my second favourite shows after Law and Order.

Wow - I think the finale ROCKED. I like the way it was shot - very tense. Very graphic, as I expected it to be. Lots of sick humor - the hallucination scene at the morgue. Gross, but very funny.
Great work from all the characters - especially Gil Grissom lipreading Nick in the box and calling Nick by his nickname of Pancho to steady him. Even Eckley did right by the team.
Grissom's final comment was "I want my guys back." I wonder if the teams will be reunited next season? If so, does Willows get demoted?

That was awesome. I think I need some time to recover and for the knot in my stomach to go away.
