I don't seem to have a delete button. I have a quote button and a modify button, but no delete. Will that option appear at some point for me?

Nwchimom, the only way I know of to delete a post is if it's recent, in the last 20 posts on the board.
If you scroll down the main page to Forum Statistics there is a 20 most recent posts option you can click on. When the page of 20 posts comes up, you will see that the delete option is available for any of your posts in this group of 20.

Yes, you can only delete or modify your own posts. The only function you can perform on a post other than your own is quote.

Thanks, Techguy. I do see it on my posts in that "Last 20 posts" list. I thought the delete button would be on the post as I read it in the thread, but it's not. Doesn't make sense.

We took it off because some people were abusing the option. You could always edit your post and leave a note that it's been deleted and a moderator will take care of it for you.

Thanks for the info, Criminal Mastermind. Actually, I did ask for the post to be deleted, but it was locked instead.
Again, thanks for the response.
