Thanks for the link, Nikki, and congrats on making Detective Metella, you know I would love Tobey in anything. I did love Seabiscuit, and can hardly wait for Spidey 2- love that suit ;D I'm also really excited about Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban, too. I hear the trailer is already out, and you know yummy Gary Oldman is playing the part of Sirius Black June is going to be a really good month.

Alan Rickman is the only actor I like from the Potter movies.
Like, as in, know and bother to remember. The kids did well enough, I didn't dislike them.

Well, it would be scary if you were crushing on any of them, wouldn't it? I have to admit that the kid who played Tom Riddle in The Chamber of Secrets was pretty cute, though. Yeah, I'm probably too old to think that, but I do. I also love Alan Rickman. He is the perfect Snape, but the futher I get in the books, the more I dislike the character, which is one of the reasons I read the last book so fast- I was too angry to sleep so I just kept going. I won't let it rub off on my liking Rickman, though. I'm just not going to be as delighted to see him in the upcoming movies.

I know that's off topic, but I *love* Alan Rickman and just had to say that. Come to think of it, I love Professor Snape. Not just in the movies, but the books as well. He's so complex. His character is a bit, hmm.... annoying at times, because he is so hung up on his past. He takes it out on Harry, who has no control over what his father was like. At the same time, he's essentially a good guy. He puts himself in danger for the good side, and he does have a somewhat 'fatherly' relationship with Harry. Forgive me, I'm a "Harry Potter Scholar" as my friends have dubbed it. I get way too involved in these discussions. Okay, now I really am getting off-topic. Spiderman, eh?

If you want to do an off topic on Potter again - just start a Potter thread. It is totally common to easily drift off topic onto another interesting subject & when you think it is time ...... just say - "hey take anymore comments to the new thread I am going to open"
I have never read a book, have seen two movies & think they are ok BUT I know there are a slew of appreciators here & I full plan to read the books whenever I get a chance - perhaps this summer.
Alan was most excellent in Robin Hood, eh?

WHAT! You have never read a book! Come on, not even one.... Yeah, Spiderman.... what can I say, Tobey is pretty cute in that suit, and I really like his version of Peter Parker. I'm not very into Kirstin Dunst as Mary Jane, though. Hopefully she'll have a better wig in the sequel.

not even one of them ....
I fully planned to start in on the first one last summer, like a freaking year ago & life just got in the way. I had to actually put things off to read the newest S. King book.

lol, SPIDEY.....cool I like to call him Spunky-man....jokes Spiderman is one of my all-time fave movies, and my all-time fave super-hero. The movie rocks, and Tobey M plays a really cool Spiderman (kinda cute, too - but not as dashingly hansome as V-man!) boo BoB Cunningnick...

I'm not very into Kirstin Dunst as Mary Jane, though. Hopefully she'll have a better wig in the sequel. Trisha, I'm not fond of Kirsten in this role either. However, MJ's hair looks much more natural this time around. As a redhead, I really hate the tomato-red she had in the first film. Could anything look more fake? From the previews, it looks more strawberry blond. I think this is an okay summer for movies. Besides Spidey 2 and HP & Pris. of Az., I would like to see "The Stepford Wives" remake. It looks pretty campy. Mo
