I for one am jealous! I'm sure it's different when you have it all the time, but at least you can play in the snow! We've had flurries that, except for Wednesday, didn't even look pretty, just cold pricks on your face. (And all the professors from up nort' start snickering at how worked up we get.) Today it's ice more than anything, just miserable blah that is quite conducive to old movies after homework, hee hee.
Of course, I could run to the grocery store to get some bread and milk...
Later all, stay warm! Catbird#nosmileys

NFL rocks in PA, eh? Eagles .... Steelers ..... I'm loving these playoffs. DOM - do you forgive me for not telling you what a great cyber/snow card that was? It was absolutely charming. I've been meaning to email you for weeks. Seems life just keeps getting in the way of my fun and socializing. It's looking like we might have a "Subway Series" here (or shall we say, a Keystone bowl?) Go Eagles! Metella, glad that you enjoyed the card. I love those cards! I understand about lack of time; I'm only coming back to electronic "life" as of recently. Have fun in the snow! D.

Well; at least your Eagles go in the S.Bowl. The Steelers tanked out badly.
Say, I had the oddest dream we were in a group, camping or field trip; whatever. You were talking about having 2 girlfriends, I was teasing you about making a decision about keeping just one ..... then all I remember is everyone else in the group was so boring but us; I wanted to scream. Freaking dreams. Must have been the PA football connection done in dreamscape.

;D I was really stoked that the Eagles are going to the S.Bowl! GO EAGLES!! Patriots have been really good this season though, so it might be a good match up. Hmmm...wonder whats some good Low-Fat super bowl food that you can eat in front of the tube without needing a drop-cloth for the floor? <pondering>

I was wondering where you were. Sorry to hear you've been so sick. I hope the weather doesn't hinder you from making a full recovery. So, how much snow did you end up getting? In my area, we only received about a foot of snow. Other areas received more. It doesn't snow too much around here (the City of Toronto has 400 snow plows; the City of Vancouver has 35!) Lots of high winds and freezing rain, too. We went from temperatures of -15C one week to +18C the next. On January 6th alone, Downtown Vancouver received 103mm (and believe it or not, that's not a record high!). About another 200mm fell in the following few days. The January average for Vancouver is ~100mm. I believe 50mm of rain is equal to about 20 inches of snowfall. Lots of flooded basements and roads. The ground was frozen from the snow and the water wasn't easily absorbed. Since the weather was bad, I didn't feel guilty about skipping days from work. ;D Good to see you posting again, Coth.

Thanks for the welcome back. Trisha, to the best of my knowledge (I sound like a new Bush appointee) I have not received any of your e-mails. I probably should get rid of AOL, but anytime I call or send a complaint, they offer me 6 months at no charge. Of course this could be in the same realm as someone not charging me to dump sewer refuse in my back yard.... Seriously, in the area I now live AOL is about the only ISP that has connections here. So hopefully things have been sorted out and I will be able to actually use the internet on a regular basis. I went to an appointment at the VA for a check-up and the doctor had a PDR monthly update from October of 2004, and I asked how difficult it was to obtain one of those, and he gave it to me. I know a lot of you work in the medical field in some capacity, but I found it quite fascinating. It's good to be back among the intelligensia with a heart and spirit. Go Patriots.

Coth, I'm sorry AOL is such a shitty service and that you never got my messages. They were nothing spectacular, just a few notes to say hi, so no problem ... except that I did get a little worried after you didn't respond for so long. Maybe you could get a hotmail or yahoo email so that you don't lose emails from any of us again? Which I guess won't help much if you can't access the internet Is there a public library near you with internet access? Or maybe a Kinkos? I know Observer used Kinko's when she was without internet at home. I just don't want you to disappear on us again
