One of my favorite books of recent months was BLUE BLOOD, a memoir by Edward Conlon. Mr. Conlon is a New York City Police Detective (he looks a bit like a cross between Mr. D'Onofrio and Chris Noth) and a Harvard graduate. It's a great book, and I highly recommend it. The National Public Radio program FRESH AIR today is repeating an interview with Mr. Conlon. It's more than worth listening to. If the program doesn't air in your area, you can hear it online at www.npr.orgPatcat
