the other one that shouldn´t be named, Lord Voldemort, has a better british accent, I´ve studied all kind of english accents and hers is the most strange one I've ever heard. Creepy.
I just ordered the second season on DVD, I wonder if I will be strong enough to watch those two episodes or I will just ignore them (Person of interest, such a bad chosen title!). Yoda said: fear is the path to the dark side... fear leads to anger... anger leads to hate.. hate leads to suffering" so, if I fear those episodes I suffer and if I watch them I suffer too....damn, I can´t win!

Well, I couldn't help but think of this thread last night. Lewis Black was doing a book signing, and during a questions period someone asked what he thought of the Anne Coulter plagiarism scandal.
"I don't pay any attention to that B***h," Black said matter-of-factly. Whistles, cheers, and applause from the audience. "Is there a plagiarism thing?"
Apparently someone did a reading of her latest book, and there are passages that are straight-out plagiarized; according to the audience member Keith Olberman did something about this. Anybody know more?

Anybody know more? --Catbird I saw the Olbermann story. It was last week sometime when it aired. Apparently this company ran a transcript of her book through their computer program and found that there are more than two dozen passages taken straight from other newspapers, press releases and studies that she never credited to the source. One was even from a Planned Parenthood press release if you can believe that!! Talk about being hypocritical!! I adore Lewis Black - he was also on CNN's "American Morning" yesterday. He went on a rant about the ticker on the bottom of the screen and they actually took it off while Miles O'Brien finished his interview with him. The whole crew and the hosts were cracking up!! My Hubby and I never miss one of his performances when he comes to Nashville. We've seen him three times now and I can highly recommend his routine. Hilariously funny and dead on observations. There is something quite attractive about a man that can make you think and laugh at the same time... I even got to kiss his cheek when he autographed my CD!! caseyswife

Olbermann ran a story on Friday - several papers that run Coultergeist's columns are pulling it. And not because liberals and dems are B***hing, but because CONSERVATIVES are!!! They think their message is getting lost in her whole mess.
I LOVE IT!!!! ;D

I even got to kiss his cheek when he autographed my CD!! caseyswife When I saw him Wednesday he was tired and sort of on autopilot during his speech/discussion session. He gave his lines, but more in that too tired to get worked up way, no ranting or everything. Laughed about having the parents arrested who brought their young children. Kiss his cheek? Lucky! I was just sorry I couldn't give him a hug; he was seated at the table signing books and I didn't bring my camera even for pictures, curses. Once you get past the yelling he does seem like a big teddy bear, physically at least. I was just excited that he knows the school I go to and personalized it with that when he signed! Very nice when talking to the customers. I highly reccomend Nothing's Sacred. While my parents and I think he can go a bit overboard at times, we generally enjoy his routines. Our personal favorite was during "Last Laugh '05" when he talked about how the only way to combat crazy enemies is to be even more psychotic than they are: re-elect Reagan! Back on topic--that is so great about the conservatives backlashing against Ann Coulter!! She can fuss about liberal bias and harassment, all she wants, nobody is fooled. People don't dislike her simply because she holds "conservative" ideas; people get infuriated because of her inflamatory, hateful, outright meanness. I personally think she's too intentional to really be the Clueless One. I try to ignore her but my hunch is she knows just what she's doing and saying. Personally I prefer Nasty One (NO--even better!). The one that terrifies me is Bill Frist. Getting involved with the megachurches, reviewing videotape to butt into the Schiavo case. Scariest of all was the whole AIDS can be transmitted by tears and sweat. Shudder--the only good news is he can't be much of an 08 contender. That's my "5 minutes alone and not in a good way" contribution. --Catbird

Frist has done absolutely nothing for the people in his home state and IMHO, is a useless waste. He is a dithering, brown nosing idiot. As I have said here before, if he gets elected, I am hauling butt to the Great White North and never looking back. caseyswife P.S. I loved the Re-Elect Reagan bit, too, catbird!! The man is genius!!

I loved it when he said his parents were like salt and pepper shakers, and then the camera panned to them, and they kinda were!....

don't kill me..i just have to voice my opinions...
about the jerk in wisconsin : i definitely and wholeheartedly agree that he should be prosecuted for what he did. it is..after all, against the law. BUT..he didn't abuse the girl, and he wasn't selling her to abusive people (as far as he knew...as far as WE know). he was someone who wasn't able to care for her...and as awful as it is to find out someone doesn't love their child (at least it really seemed he didn't)...he just wanted to find a home for her and he didn't abuse her.
now...it would look less awful (still awful, but less awful) if he wasn't trying to SELL her!
as for ann coulter..i've only seen a few interviews here and there of her...
cassie's description of what she said and her interpretation make sense. and i can agree with that i guess...but i've heard some awful things come out of that woman's mouth. i choose to ignore it. people like her, they're TRYING to get people riled up and argumentative. those who want to kick her a$$..that's what she wants. not for you to do it..but for you to get angry enough to say you want to. it makes her more popular. (not good popular..but more seen). if we all just ignore her..she'll go away much faster.

raeangel: Sweetie, HE WAS SELLING HIS CHILD! Some things are just wrong. Period. didn't i agree that it was wrong? i did agree that it was wrong..in fact i totally and wholeheardedly agreed he should be prosected for it. i'm just saying, he's more of an idiot than a hateful person. it'd be one thing if he was just trying to give her up for adoption, (although i can't imagine doing that after already having raised her for 18 months, obviously not a loving father) but selling her so he can fix up his house? dummy! grr! (i do believe i called it "awful" as well if you wanna go back and check) all i'm saying is that at least he's not so hateful that he abused her and hated her then tried to sell her off....

raeangel,
I went back and re-read your post, got a grip on myself, and now maybe I can communicate more clearly.
The man (he can never be called "father") did not physically abuse his child, but he did equate her with property. He saw no problem with selling a human being for money. I'm not even sure he saw her as a human being, I got the impression from the origional post that he saw her as a commodity, a thing to use for his profit. I call that abuse. You are right, he's an idiot. I say idiots can also be evil. He did a hateful thing in debasing this child.
