This episode is one that made an impression on me the first time, with the favored son and grandson, and the parallel to Bobby's own life.
But now. . .watching it after all that's happened. . .after seeing the dance of Bobby and Frank and Frances and Frank and Bobby. . .
I spent one whole viewing of this trying to watch Bobby's reactions to everything and the look on his face when he talks about the "scapegoat", and when he sees the way Jules treats his grandsons, favoring Adlai's son over Ted's.
Well, I'll just say it was like a knife through his heart and it was all over his face.

Yeah, I read that post! It was great, makes me wanna see strangers. I also commend the person that pointed out the connection to "Strange Bedfellows" as a phrase and a possible pun on the title... great finds!
Strange, I didn't think there was that much reaction from Bobby at all. At times you could see that he could relate to the subject, but I wonder if - in hindsight - someone that didn't have that much background on him would notice. Yes, there were the occasional looks, but if I compare to - let's say - Suite Sorrow, I didn't think his involvement was that obvious, or not for me. Mabye because he didn't state ist as clearly, I don't know.

It just proves how absolutely obsessed I am, that I pick up on so many tiny nuances. LOL!
