I've never been a SATC fan, but I may just catch this film when it comes out. My daughter (age 20) loved the show.
The movie "Castaway" with Tom Hanks was on recently. I didn't realize that Chris Noth played Helen Hunt's husband, a dentist she married on the rebound when she believed that Tom Hanks was dead. Noth has one scene, really, in the film. I just didn't realize it was him until now. Anyone else catch that?

Thanks for the info. Techguy
I thought Sex and the City was a fairly well done show - but only watched it religiously when I knew Chris was going to be on.
In so far as Noth's parts go - Logan always and continues to be my fave. I'm a cop genre kind of gal I guess
So I'm mostly happy that this article states that Chris will be working on both the movie and CI simultaneously. I will go see the movie BUT would have been very bummed if it had interfered with his work on CI!!
Sounds like Mr. Noth is going to be one tired guy this fall

My sweetie has learned to play with the big cats!
Chris Noth is clearly on Team SJP!February 01, 2010 é Jarett WieselmanJarett Wieselman -->
Much ink is spilled over the war between "Sex and the City" co-star Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall -- but perhaps the more fun feud lies with Kim and a different "SATC" co-star, Chris Noth! During a recent interview, Chris dropped this bomb: "All actresses have someone working for them called a Vanity Person. Their job is to make sure that you look good at all times during filming. Most normal actors only have one person doing this job. But on 'Sex and the City' all the stars had two. Except for Kim Cattrall, who had three!" Meow, Chris. Looks like spending all that time on their estrogen-heavy set taught him a thing or two about the best way to kick-start a catfight! No wonder I had to go all the way back to 2000 in order to find a picture of the two sharing a frame!
