This is not fair. They're just toying with my emotions! Someone's gonna get a nasty letter from me. LOL
Seriously, though, I'm really irritated with this change. I was so looking forward to seeing the next installment of Goren/Eames and how they resolve - and they better resolve it - the rift they left off with.

Hahaha thats so deliberate. I think NBC wanted to have Albatross there first (which is why USA and TV Guide have it listed as the first of the new year) but Leight or someone high up wanted to hold it off after TWAH... but seriously... THE WAIT IS KILLING ME!

I agree! That makes three Wheeler/Logan episodes in a row (not counting the December repeats), maybe Wally is in charge of NBC sheduling as well as the USA network! But they still have time to change their minds. BUT, the title alone "World's Fair" leaves me curious and optimistic!
Maybe they think if we're jonesin' for a G/E episode we'll trot right out and buy Season 2 on DVD if Santa doesn't bring it?

Man, I sit on my homestead with no electricity (or water) for two days, and when I finally get back on the internets (what? addict, me? Noooo...) THIS is my news? Still so set scheduled G/E episode to look forward to? Sigh. Why must Santa leave me a lump of coal (not that Logan and Wheeler are lumps of coal, but my anticipation is killing me!), what did I dooooo???

Yeah, no rhyme or reason there, Sarahivy. I think its a NUTS decision rather than a creative one. Both Stephanie and Rene, in their interviews, alluded to a scheduling needs determining which episodes aired when.

It could be they are saving those extra Goren episodes for the end of season for an interlocking run as they did with Deakins last season.....this doesnt have to mean the demise of Goren;it could be leaving the season on an intense note, both open and closed. Cliff hanger. Now that would absolutely kill me! LOL I'm all annoyed and anxious over having to wait a few weeks for another Goren/Eames episode with some kind of resolution. Not sure how I'll handle a whole summer... Then again, I'd rather have a cliff hanger with the promise of a return of Goren and Eames and a season 7 than a regular ending with no promises and the possibility of a complete end.

I was going to guess that as I just saw that USA will be showing it the next Wed night. Saving "Albatross" for February sweeps? It better be REALLY REALLY good!

So does the feb or May sweep determine LOCI's future? If you recall, we didn't find out until May 15 2006, the day after CI's Season 5 finale, whether it would be on NBC's fall schedule. If history repeats itself, I expect a similar scenario in May 2007.Thats wierd Techguy. i wrote this reply to your comment, but your comment now comes after me on the list...how did that happen? It's all a great big mystery! Actually, it's a trick I learned about how to delete a post when all along I've believed it couldn't be done. I decided to try it rather than modify my post. But don't ask for directions, I'm sure the admin/mods won't appreciate it!From the www.nielsenmedia.com FAQs:What are the sweep periods? Sweeps are designated months during the year when Nielsen Media Research measures all local markets. We survey the majority of our 210 local television markets in November, February, May and July (Local People Meter markets, however, are measured 365 days a year). These months are known as “sweep” months, and the data are used by local stations and cable systems to set local advertising rates and to make program decisions. The term “sweep” originated in the 1950s, when Nielsen Media Research mailed and processed diaries to sample households, starting with the East Coast and “sweeping” across the nation.BTW, www.epguides.com lists "Albatross" as episode #13 for Season 6 after #12 "Privilege" but no air date is given for it. "Albatross" is described as a Goren/Eames episode.:A candidate for the next mayor of New York could see her election hopes dashed when Goren and Eames investigate her husband on suspicion of murder.
