YahooNews.comRussian "SVU" scores in series debutLOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - A new Russian version of "Law & Order: SVU" premiered in primetime this week on Russia's NTV network, marking the first scripted procedural format of a U.S. series to air overseas. The premiere Monday was the night's popular show, while a second original episode the next night was also tops. where was the crime? I would have change the channel 9 min and no crime? Russians have patients.

Actually, the Russian version of LOCI premiered two days after the SVU premiered and got even higher numbers. The following week, both SVU and LOCI got higher numbers than the first week. The clip on YouTube is actually the teaser for their version of "Yesterday" from season 2 -- they changed things around a bit -- the drug-addict brother/murder accomplice was changed to a deaf guy -- and while the LOCI teaser took all of four minutes, the Russian one took eight.
