I don't think her reaction was that of a jilted girlfriend. More of a person who had almost shot her friend and partner.
No one is perfect. Her reaction was human, and was just her reacting to the shock of bursting through the door to find him there, thinking he actually was a criminal until she discovered he was undercover. She, and anyone, would react the same way. It's not necessarily right for her to expect him to tell her what was going on, but it is normal of most people. Maybe she should have been quicker to jump to simply shrugging it off as police procedure, but to be honest I would doubt her as a person if she did that.
It's much more believable to me to have her have feelings than just some by-the-book cop who is just programmed to follow rules.
The reason why their whole argument is still talked about now is because we all identify with them both (or just one of them) on some level. I know I do.

I can see that but she held the grudge long enough.

I mean, Eames is a human and you can't really blame her for being angry at him. She lost her husband the same way, so in my opinion, she's not wrong in staying upset with him. She needed time to realize that things were ok.

People do. As far as I know, it was just the next episode or so, right? There's no datecards so we have no idea how long it was. Unless you guys have figured that out? ;D
I'm sure Goren thought she'd held the grudge too long, too. But that's life. It's why I love this.

Well, I think part of the reason why she didn't hold the grudge long is because soon after Goren came back she realized why he did what he did. She cooled off and recognized Goren's situation.

Perhaps part of it was the fear that she almost blew her best friends brains out, or at least maimed him, that would of shook her to the core. So she vented, and yes given that her husband was killed wrongfully on duty, it may have brought a lot home when she saw him there, and the look on his face was of shock too. You could tell that he was upset in the way she had found out, I suspect that he thought he would tell her later about it, once he had been arrested with the others. Quote: As far as I know, it was just the next episode or so, right? There's no datecards so we have no idea how long it was. Unless you guys have figured that out? ;D Well, there is something to do while waiting for S9

Through the Cougar episode, but no I don't remember the timeline. That episode with Ross' old girlfriend "Betrayed," occurred right after "Purgatory." So if this case was immediately after Goren is reinstated, we're only talking Eames being upset a day or two at the most. Not all that long, IMO. We see that about halfway through the episode, things are better. Goren & Eames sit closely together on the desk talking with Ross. What it boils down to is trust. Eames believes that she had put her career on the line time & time again for Goren, trusting his instincts and following his lead. She didn't have to, she chose to. She always backed him in spite of what Ross or the Brass want. In her opinion, he put what the Brass wanted ahead of her. It took a little time for her to remember that he really had no choice if he wanted to have his job back & return as her partner.

That makes perfect sense Donnajo and I didn't even have to read your comment a second time to figure it out - I agree!

It's odd, maherjunkie, that you would accuse Bobby of seeing Eames as a woman first and a cop second, yet you disapprove of her reaction, saying she acted like a "jilted girlfriend." I say that you sir are the one who sees Eames as a woman first, and have accused this poor innocent man in an attempt to throw sand in the eyes of your fellow forum frequenters! Confess, sir! ;D

I'm female, angua, and I don't quite know what you mean; I always thought he saw her as a cop first and I'm on his side.
