I never tire of seeing that interview. Adore Vincent & Jon Stewart. I wish he would go on the show again. Thanks, Annabelle. And thank you Sirenna, for the transcript of The Cell interview. An oldie but still a goodie, for sure.

VDO has such a presence in this movie. Very scary and intense. J Lo was actually good in it too.

I had to repaste the link (from the box on their page) for some reason. I don't know why, because it appeared to be the identical link.

I had no problems at all. And yeah, thanks for the link! I haven't seen it before and he did look good ;D Edit; I usually use Opera. I just tried with Firefox and Safari, too. No problems, the link works just fine here.

Annabelleleigh, thanks so much for posting this link! Not only did Vincent look awesome, but he and Jon Stewart cracked me up! ROTFL! ;D I would LOVE to see this clip. Unfortunately, I am coming up frustratingly blank, also, as one of our Canadian Friends did. Bummer. All I get is a reel that takes me to a the next segment. Even if I click on the VDO clip, off I go to lawnmowers. Nevertheless, AL, a great heads-up! Thanks, and perhaps the clip can be beaten into submission soon ;D

I had to cut and paste the clip in another tab, fwiw.
This one is particularly sexy fo some reason. I think it's the hands.

It really is sexy, isn't it? I think it's his whole demeanor. Vincent was so relaxed and Jon Stewart is funny, so that set the tone. The whole thing was just so playful. Vincent is so sexy when he's playful.

I've tried repasting. I went into the source code and copied it. I recopied the link from the JD page. I changed browsers. Do you think I'm trying to be sent a message? sigh.

For anyone who can't get the link to work, you might try doing a search on Youtube. They've got nearly everything else! You'd think that interview would be there, too. I found a great one on there once of Vincent on Greg Kilborn's show. He did the "bug walk" from Men In Black. It was great!

I've seen this film a couple of times. Disturbing, beautiful, haunting. I've never seen a film that looks like this one. Terrific performances from Vince Vaughn (who I hope will go back to some dramas in the future) and Mr. D'Onofrio. Unfortunately, there are two big holes in this film. One is the pseudo-scientific elements of the plot. The other is Jennifer Lopez, who just doesn't have the oomph for her role. I give her points for trying, though.
This couldn't have been a fun role for Mr. D'Onofrio. It looks like torture physically, and getting into this role--Brave man.

I read in an interview where Vincent said that the research he did for this role gave him nightmares, even after the filming was done. And I think it was his experience with The Cell that contributed to the idea for the story we witnessed in "Vacancy". It was an extreme example of what could happen if a person did not keep their "head" while researching for this kind of role.
I have yet to see The Cell without commercials. I am going to have to buy the DVD to get the full experience. It's a visually stunning film.
