I saw it a long time ago. I have the video but it has been quite a while since I saw it. Maybe I should rewatch this week and come back with some comment. I remember liking the idea of the movie but I forget what character V. played.

I highly recommend 13th Floor - I enjoyed it so much I watched it 3 times during the week that I rented it. As mentioned above, it’s a pleasure to see VDO in work other than LOCI – especially in that his physicality and use of his body in space in other films is so interesting and artful that you don’t see on LOCI. I have noticed certain mannerisms that pop up in all his work – fun to make note of. He’s such an accomplished actor that it’s such a pleasure as every performance is a virtuoso one.
He actually plays dual characters – present-day and 1930s Hollywood – I’ll leave it at that so as not to spoil it
The whole cast of 13th floor is a good ensemble. It was interesting to note that Gretchen Mol is from Deep River CT, only one town over from where I work - cool!.
If you get a chance to see it you’ll enjoy it!

The first time I saw this movie I didn't even know who VDO was. I would really love to see it again but I have no idea if I can find it DVD. I'm hoping that some day that the Sci-Fi channel will show it again so I can appreciate him in the movie more.

I found this DVD at Walmart in a bin for about 5 bucks. It was a good buy since it has features and commentary. The director talks about someone referring Vincent D'Onofrio to him and he was glad to get him for this role. He also said that he has blonde hair to distinguish him from Craig Bierko. Interesting enough Craig Bierko is currently on Boston Legal and once played an old boyfriend of Olivia Benson's on SVU a few seasons back. Dennis Haysbert is currently on one of CI's competitors The Unit. All of these shows are on Tuesday night currently.

I like Craig Bierko, the lead in this movie. He was great as the boxer Max Bear (sp) in the movie Cinderella Man with Russell Crowe & Renee Zellwigger. He plays mean very well, like VDO. I can see how people might mix them up, they are both big guys.
