Thanks Donnajo for trying to help me. Unfortunately it still does the same thing. It's an incredible interview. It's well worth downloading the latest version of Adobe (if you haven't already.) Go to: get.adobe.com/reader/ to check for the needed updates. I needed to do that a few weeks back for another interview (not LOCI related). It only took a few minutes, and I don't think I even had to restart my computer. Good luck!

I have a webby. I can't download adobe. I do have adobe reader so I can view lots of things but if it requires I have to download.....well I am SOL.
This thing has its limitations. On the plus side, I don't get a virus, it is simple and doesn't crash or require software. I can sit in my chair and use my TV for a monitor. I only use this for email, posting here and surfing/looking up things. It has a bunch of stuff I don't use.

!!%@#@!!! I can't access that interview. Something about having the old Adobe. Wahhhhh It doesn`t matter which link you use to view anything, it is still the same interview. So as vdofan1 said, (It's well worth downloading the latest version of Adobe (if you haven't already.) Go to: get.adobe.com/reader/ to check for the needed updates.) People need to always make sure their computer has the latest software, its always evolving. You usually get a reminder from them when you need to update, it its as easy as a "click" of the mouse

The only other idea is to ask the mentioned blog, to somehow help you and others to read the interview that otherwise cant. The book will be released soon, and people will be putting excerpts of it up everywhere. It will be a topic for discussion for sure, there are things in the interview that have been around the nett for years anyhow. As well as other things that have come out in interviews as well, its not hard to work out that V was intense on set in that time

Diab, I know all about computers that are limited. I had one for years that would not accept updates or downloads of new versions of programs. Since the interview is on iPaper, it can't be copied & pasted. Is there a place you could go to access the interview, like your local library, a friend's computer, something like that?

DonnaJo---another poster very graciously offered to help. I got a PM last night. That's just one of the great things about this board......people willing to go out of their way to lend a helping hand to another. Between advice on how to try and get the interview, posting a link or volunteering emails, people are willing to help without being asked. I'm lucky I found this place and the people who are in it.

I'm so glad! Yes, the people here are wonderful. Based on how VDO acted then & now, the man has changed, had an epiphany or something. There's an article at The Reel about how VDO gently & patiently gave autograph's and photos to dozens of people waiting at LAX, and refused to be handled like a "celebrity." Doesn't sound like the same guy who was so hurtful to Ron Harris that he went to a corner in tears. I like this new VDO, a man who cares about others. I just wish that he would care more about himself, his health, and how he looks. I don't mean it in a shallow way. How we look affects how we feel. I know that's true about myself.

I think this interview shows Vincent in a mixed light. Good father, diva sometimes?

Maherjunkie, I'm reminded of what Rudy Langer said in "Art". When Sylvia Moon was ranting at him. He sort of gave this eye roll and said "Artists!", meaning they can be so tempermental and mercurial. Vincent fits the bill on both. So do I, for that matter. Hee hee!

The article is very interesting, but I have to say that he's not very nice about VDO. Maybe I'm being overprotective, but it reminds me of a bit of wisdom my mom always uses: "Whoever is throwing dirt is loosing the ground beneath them." Now we all want honesty, but I think him putting out the "bad stuff" just reflects as much on him like on VDO.

Actually, my take is that VDO was much worst than portrayed in this article, and that Ron Harris was being as kind as possible. Ron is quick to praise many others, such as Kate Erbe and her stand in. Also other actors he has worked with. He sounds like a very nice guy. And I don't think he actually insults Vincent, just points out his quirks. We all know that VDO is a perfectionist. If you'll notice, most if not all of the articles or blog postings that talk about VDO chatting with the crew, or being open to fans, is post Season 4. Ron had left the job by then. I think VDO changed (for the better) as a result of his personal life. Especially his health scare and the separation from his family in 2005.

I agree and I do have the same impression from what I've read. Still, I was appalled by it - and a lot more by Ron Harris talking about it than by the stuff itself. I can't even tell you why, since I would not classify myself as a VDO fan per se.

I don`t see anything wrong with being honest, ( do you want lies and fantasies??) the things Mr Harris said per say, have been around the on the net for years. This interview/ soon to be book, just proves what has been out there for years, which i will enjoy reading his account of the years working on LOCI. I am never shocked at the fences put up to people who sometimes speak the truth on V, rather than build up a false impression If Ron Harris had of sugar coated it, he would have been sent an award, but instead, he got a lot of flack from over eifrig fan`s.

Hmmm....this comment of yours is a surprise. When I posted the rumors regarding VDO's marital indiscretions, which also have been "around on the net for years," you were quick to criticize. As far as Ron Harris is concerned, the man is trying to sell his book. Writing that everyone was nice and sweet won't sell many copies. I believe every word he says about VDO's "quirks." He also mentioned that when he started his candy making operation, Vincent sent him a very nice gift. So we get to see both sides of the man - the good & the not-so-good.
