I have three close friends who are bi-polar. My own brother may have been but refused any testing or treatment. He committed suicide nearly 3 years ago. NicoleMarie, I'm so sorry about your brother. Thank you for sharing this with us in order to emphasize how little people really know about this disorder. And how left untreated, how tragedy can result. I'm sure your experience can & does help others you know similarly afflicted. My prayers go out to you & yours.

NicoleMarie, I'm sorry for the loss of your brother too, and how the NE story might have brought up unpleasant and painful memories for you. I also now understand better your intense negative reaction to the CI episode "No Exit," and so I'm sorry for those sad and painful reminders as well.

Im new and thought id comment...National Enquirer....doesn;t it hold about as much fiction as truth for starters?? Also there are a lot of people who are on anti-depressants and anti-psychotic meds for reason other then mental illness or issues. I used to take an anti-psychotic for my migraines so there are a long list of reasons he could have been perscribed it.
