Anybody ever have shingles? I got 'em! I'm achy and tired and I have a nasty, itchy, painful rash on my neck. And I'm whiney. Well, since I don't have much energy for productive pursuits, I have lots of time to read, play around with photobucket, and watch movies!!! We recently found a funky little independently owned DVD/VHS rental store downtown and my sweet husband picked up a few that I haven't seen. (probably to distract me so he doesn't have to listen to me complain!) The first one I watched was "Household Saints". I read the book a few months ago and the movie followed the story closely. I agree with most of the opinons in earlier posts on this thread. How about that mother-in-law? I had a wonderful Italian mother-in-law. Thank goodness she wasn't like Mrs. Santangelo! However, the crosses, rosaries, and pictures of the saints in the movie brought back some fond memories of my "other" mom who passed away a few years ago. The movie wasn't great, but a VDO fan would enjoy seeing him in it.
