So a couple of my friends and I went to the movies a couple weeks ago. Not much looked too appealing to us. One of my friends suggested Zombieland 'cause it looked 'kinda interesting for a zombie movie'.
We go in, sit down, sip our drinks, watch the fun trailers...then the movie starts. Right off I was laughing. It was surprisingly pretty funny. It's a spoof on Zombie movies and the post-apocalyptic movies. It has parts that are stupid-funny but mostly it's just well written jokes and satirical comedy. Dark humor in some parts.
I recommend anyone with a sense of humor to go see this movie. Go in with the thought in mind that it's just a fun movie and don't take it too seriously. It IS fun.
I'm not a huge fan of Woody Harrelson but he played his character really well. I was surprised to see Abigail Breslin in it (that girl is in so many movies I wonder if she has a social life) but she wasn't her normal cutesy self, which was good.
My friends and I love this movie. One said she'll buy it when it comes out. Several people at work also said they loved it. If you don't want to see it in theatre, at least rent it.
