What do you mean by 'performing'? What will she be doing? Wendy Hugs

Each night Martin Short becomes Jiminy Glick and interviews a member of the audience; some times it is a well known person, some times it is a "regular joe." The skits are unscripted. Other "Law and Order" participants have included Richard Belzer, Chris Meloni, and Chris Noth.

Bless her heart. She is such a good sport and I am sure VERY embarrassed. She was wearing a brown shirt, denim skirt, fishnet stockings and what I think were almost knee high Ugg Boots. Anywho, one part of the show Martin's character "Jiminy Glick (sp?)" interviews a celebrity. I've seen the show during the preview of it and I know that that entire part of the show is completely improvised. She was really great and funny. VERY flustered by some of the questions ("If President Lincoln was alive, would he like his tunnel?" "The toilets that flush themselves...they know when you're done or are they just guessing?" Then my poor shipper heart was a flutter when they mentioned Vincent. He asked what VeeDoh was like and she said jokingly "Tall...unstable" and then GG (Martin) asked about all that sexual tension. She got a little flustered and said that they were too tired for that. Hmmm, no denying the ST though. Also she and Martin danced a little on the stage. It was really great. Bless her heart. After the show was over I wanted to see if I could get to talk to her. She was sitting 3 rows behind my friend Brian. I wish I had traded with him. I was 4 rows behind Bruce Springstein and I'm not really a fan so I couldve cared less. He said she was coming out right behind him but some woman stopped her and said that she taught her daughter. So we waited and waited but she never came out the door she was supposed to. I think she went out a few doors over. That was kind of depressing, but I am happy I at least got to go to the show and see her. It was really funny at one part SPOILER FOR THE SHOW IF ANYONE DECIDES TO SEE IT WHICH YOU SHOULD CAUSE ITS AWESOME * * * * * When Martin Short is supposed to be in a coma in the bed, Marc Shaiman (the composer and does bits in the show) pretending to be Martin teases her. When GG (Martin) asked her how she started out (I believe she said Little Red Riding Hood in Kindergarten) she said "A lot like you" and GG (Martin) teased her and was like "You mean a lot like the man lying in the bed in a coma?" and then Marc pretended to have an erection. She turned around a little too late but everyone was cracking up. -Jenn

Thanks for the report Jenn! If I were there I'd be in heaven. Seeing Kathryn and The Boss on the same night would have been heaven! LOL I'm a huge Springsteen fan so I would have been delighted to see him there.
Ah well, Kathryn sounds just adorable. :-)
