I got bored searching something else and pirated this, thinking that Erbe fans might get a kick out of it. I'm afraid it's in .pdf format and must be downloaded, more sophisticated maneuvers having eluded me. You can let me know if it opens; if not, I'll scan it in later. download.yousendit.com/7829B77012CB5CF0 It's a short but amusing piece on KE's fashion tastes (under a page). I was particularly amused to read that it was the "network guys" who banned Eames from skirts.

Sorry about the graininess--it's a .pdf scan rather than the original article. It may have been a bit impressionistic to begin with

Ok. Did you scan it yourself, or receive it like that though?
edit: Reading again, I get the feeling it was the latter, yes?

Thanks member 727. Nice little article.
Surprised to hear her say she's 5'4", I thought she was a little shorter. And the part about her shrink? Jees, does everyone in the media feel they need a shrink?

It seems like it's almost a fad for celebs to have a shrink. Go get a shrink- all the cool people are doing it

I didn't mean the shrink thing seriously. I was just joking about how all the celebrates seem to have one. Not that they don't have their reasons.

Yeah. It's a different life being a celebrity, but some of them seem to regard shrinks as almost a sign of status. And completely off topic, but every time I hear the words 'celebrity psychiatrist' I have an urge to go watch Dr Katz

Maybe having problems with exhubby, costars( if VDO being difficult is True, but I think not) nothing wrong with seeing a shrink. I have a daughter who suffers from social anxiety, depression and is homebound can't stand to be in large rooms of people. Just because she is a celebrity doesn't mean she is perfect or has the perfect life. She has her own problems.

I hope no one thought I mocking people with shrinks It was just the celebrity thing, but it was just a joke. I didn't mean it seriously or to offend anyone. I wouldn't want to; I have two very (very) close friends who see shrinks. And I wasn't suggesting they have perfect lives. I'm positive they don't. Jesh I hit a button

Holly, It's OK. I was the one who made a joke about her seeing a shrink to begin with! Everyone can blame me for being insensitive. I guess my point was that on the surface, she seems to have it all.... Looks, money, VDO in her sights constantly, two healthy children and a career she enjoys. There aren't many people who have all that, (especially VDO's hulking presence next to you). Yes, she's divorced, but so is about half of all once-married couples. I know many people who visit psychiatrists and use them as crutches. Some are close family members. It's easy to pay someone to help you sort through the mess of life, much easier than figuring it out for yourself. However, there are excellent reasons to see a shrink. Depression, phobias, anxiety that is uncontrollable, etc. Perhaps Kate is suffering from something bigger than herself & needs professional help. It's how she mentioned it, her shrink, in such a light hearted manner, that made me believe she really doesn't need one. But who knows?

Bear in mind that article was from six years ago. And anyway, there's a whole range of therapist-patient relationships - some people only see them as a formality, or if there's something minor but long-running, others need them as an emotional crutch.
