As some of you may have noticed, the CI Renewal Thread is gone. It was full of pulverized and rotting horse meat, so we scooped it up and sent it to the glue factory. We're all about recycling So, just an FYI ... I spent 4 hours of my precious free time that I'll never get back trying to get that thread back on track once. I won't do that again for that or any thread. When a thread goes that wrong, it's just going to have to be put out of all of our misery. You can go ahead and start a new renewal news thread if you like, but if you want to play kick-the-carcass, please do so via pm. Horseflies bite, and we haven't got enough money in the budget for all that Fabreze. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation

Good move, CM. Again, thanks to you, Jethro and the Major for all that you do to keep this board my favorite place to post my thoughts. Even if sometimes those thoughts go OT.

Funny thing about glue...it's really sticky.

Why? It didn't do any good leaving it up, after all of the time CM spent on it previously.

I really didn't see anything wrong with the thread after the initial nuttiness that was taken care of awhile back. In fact, I lightened the whole thing up with my Dukes of Hazzard jokes. Wasn't me who spoiled the fun. Missing the metaphor on the sticky thing, y'all.

No beef either way. OBC, maybe we can find the teen idol thread and you can tell us how you were Shaun Cassidy's handmaiden once. ;D

MJ I hate to correct you but I was Shaun's handmaiden before I graduated to being John Schneider's valet.

Hmm....did you get your training under David? Did you do post graduate work with Patrick, the forgotten Cassidy?

Well, MJ it happened like this. I was Amblin down the street one day and he drove by and called out Be My Baby! I turned around and thought Da Doo Ron Ron and said I would love to be your Morning Girl. After a wonderful Holiday time together he told me I Wanna Be With You, but I told him It's Too Late and that I had to go John was calling. He told John Take Good Care Of My Baby and he responded hey Thats Rock and Roll.

Ok, we are way off field and should probably drop this before the topic "Glue Factory" gets sent to the Glue Factory.

You're right, they probably don't want to hear how I was Leif Garrett's bagman.

I think diluting this glue was a great idea. Let's take it to the squad room now...glue is sufficiently defunct!
