Copied from Annabelle's article on the general discussion thread: A CASE THAT BEGINS AS A SEARCH FOR A MISSING WITNESS SPIRALS INTO A MURDER CONSPIRACY WITH ADA CONNIE RUBIROSA (ALANA DE LA GARZA) CAUGHT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE.This was perhaps one of the best episodes so far this season. Jonathan Cake (Julianne Nicholson's husband in real life) plays a smarmy, corrupt former ADA. It's a recurring role, as he played the same character in last week's "Boy Gone Astray." The Judge in this has been in LOCI several times, once as Mark Ford Brady's lawyer. The corrupt lawyer's attorney was also on LOCI, as was the shooter. He played the son in "Unrequited." Anyone see any more LOCI actors? Wait....the bi-sexual witness. She was just in LOCI last season. Cutter broke my heart. It's now obvious to me that he has a huge crush on Rubirosa. Not sure how she feels about him. I just hope that they continue to only to show us dibs and dabs of such things. Love how Cutter played on Cake's arrogance and conceit to get him to open the door for the other charges. ;D

This was a great episode! It was well written and very interesting. I loved the way Cutter played the fomrer ADA when he was cross examining him and putting Connie in the fire while doing it -- the look on her face was great and then she saw the light when Cutter walked him right into the trap. I also loved when Connie was in the witness stand and said how unimportant and unmemorable the former ADA was -- she had almost forgotten him. Priceless! I want to watch it over again to pick up what I missed the first time around.
It went a little too far into the Cutter/Rubirosa thing for my taste and Jack's comment at the end was a little over the top. I hope they don't pursue a romantic relationship in the show. I liked how they did it with McCoy -- referred to occasionally, assumed, but never dealt with in the show in a big way.
