Quietfireca, won't sending the "fluff" on October 16th be to late? It seems like timing it with the start of filming will be a big bang for the media - hand it to them on a silver platter so that it sounds like something worth reporting and help them think: who, what, where, why basics. We should start sending our individual fluffs now and keep up the contact blitz. I hope that helps explain the timing lovebug!

We don't want FLUFF! We want Goren and Eames. But if USA/NBC wants fluff - we'll send them fluff. Members who want to participate can post their names on the site; members who don't want any part of it will therefore not be represented. Real names (and city and state) would be more helpful than cyber-IDs but if people don't want to reveal their real world identities that's okay too. Members should feel free to suggest a one line message to USA and all thoughts will be summarized. Guys if you want to PM me with your names, that's fine. I'll go first! I'm Suzanne _______, Vancouver Island, BC Canada and I need a 12-step program for Criminal Intent (er, sorry, side-tracked). I want intelligent scripting and acting, NOT FLUFF. I want Goren and Eames on Criminal Intent. They made Criminal Intent fascinating and they should finish it with a full season. I'm sure others of you will have better comments.... and then I can change mine when I see yours!

The news made it to Wikipedia already:...Wolf would like Goldblum to be the main star of the show...
...In response to news of the impending cast changes, on September 27, 2009, dedicated fans of the series united and launched a grassroots campaign to save departing cast members D'Onofrio, Erbe and Bogosian. Among the more traditional methods of letters, postcards, email and phone calls, the fans included sending jars of marshmallow fluff by the case to express their displeasure at the proposed change of tone for the series to a lighter venue.

Someone on the USA board suggested the Wikipedia thing and it was off and running!!
I'm in for the fluff and I'm sending more postcards and emails. I sent another set of emails tonight with a simple, direct message:
No Goren and Eames = No USA programming at my house. Period.
(my full name) Very disappointed viewer
As for my fluff comment:
The USA Network. Only fluffy characters welcome.

I've had 4 takers for the CI-US Fluff Campaign!! Come on, guys! Even if you're doing your own thing with postcards www.quietfiredesign.com/LOCI/CriminalIntentPostcard.htmand emails, this is another opportunity to make a statement. You *know* they'll give it all to a foodbank ultimately, so you'll be doing some good. And, it doesn't cost you anything. A gift from an anonymous donor. I'm just being the worker bee! Have your name added to to list - let's make it a big one!!

Sigh. The rumor mongers have already started plying their evil trade. Gothamist.com (yes, I do read gossip. I've told you all I'm a bad, evil person...) printed a blind item yesterday regarding the B-level star of a network crime show with a drug problem that's keeping him from working on the series. Several posters said it had to be Mr. D'Onofrio and that's why he was fired ("Fired"?) from LOCI, while others claimed it had to be Mr. Goldblum.
I've always wondered why Mr. D'Onofrio is such a lightning rod for hate. Heck, I've always wondered about people who love to spread bad news and rumors. (Doesn't keep me from reading gossip, though.)

How can I send you my info? What exactly should email you? Thanks! Hi moonlightenvy! (and anyone else who is wondering) Just beside this post, under the Who's carrying the water.... hit the mail or PM icon and it will open a new window. Tell me your name, city or state and a little bit about why you're unhappy. What you'll miss. How you think they've been treated poorly.... Awesome!!

And if you're out of the US, this is a *perfect* opportunity to be included!
Maybe we'll get a full season. Whatever - we'll let VDO, KE and EB know they are very highly regarded.
Hey fellow CIers, I'm looking for some photos of the the three above walking in what might be a vacant lot or alley beside a brick building. I think it was only used for promotion. Any insight? Thanks!
