One week left to get your names in!
Ten cases of Fluff will be shipped to Jean Guerin at USA Network on October 7th (to arrive in New York approximately October 16th).
If anyone wants to send in a message suggestion (one or two lines), please do so soon. Nothing negative specific to Jeff Goldblum will be included but all should feel free to express their opinions of USA network's decision to dismiss Vincent D'Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe, etc. Please just keep it civil and focused.

If you're tweeting: Make sure you add @usa_LawOrderCI or @usa_Network or both! to your tweets (although it starts to take up a lot of those 140 characters when you add both!) They're not saying much at twitter.com/USA_LawOrderCIor twitter.com/USA_NETWORK

Sigh. The rumor mongers have already started plying their evil trade. Gothamist.com (yes, I do read gossip. I've told you all I'm a bad, evil person...) printed a blind item yesterday regarding the B-level star of a network crime show with a drug problem that's keeping him from working on the series. Several posters said it had to be Mr. D'Onofrio and that's why he was fired ("Fired"?) from LOCI, while others claimed it had to be Mr. Goldblum. I've always wondered why Mr. D'Onofrio is such a lightning rod for hate. Heck, I've always wondered about people who love to spread bad news and rumors. (Doesn't keep me from reading gossip, though.) Patcat Very interesting timing. The fans start speaking up, and suddenly the smear campaign begins. Of course, Vincent is always a lightning rod but this smells very suspicious to me. Too bad you can't sue for libel over an internet rumor. Laws are going to have to change to keep up with the times. If Carol Burnett could get her pound of flesh from the National Enquirer, there ought to be a way to stick it to these internet vultures who spread this kind of crap.

Patcat, I went to Gothamist.com and read the last six pages, but can't seem to find the blind item you mentioned. Could you give me a hand?

Whoops. It may have been Gawker.com. Much, much worse website. Lots of people who don't seem to like Mr. D'Onofrio. I think Micheal Ausiello may work for it (g).
Bad, Bad Patcat!

It was gawker. See gawker.com/5370120/which-actor-is-too-busy-doing-drugs-to-go-to-workOf course, LOCI isn't scheduled to start filming until later this month and it's a cable not network show. But facts have never stopped rumor mongers. (But if you don't believe them, why do you visit the sites, Patcat? Because I'm a weak, evil person...) Patcat

I read the post, it doesn't sound like our show or any actors on Criminal Intent

Heehee. What a fun site, Patcat. I guess I'm weak & evil as well. ;D I wasn't too annoyed at the comments. Most of them were supportive of VDO. And it's obvious that it isn't anyone on LOCI, since the show is on hiatus, and isn't considered a "big hit" nor a "network drama." I think it's David Caruso too.

I did this epic blog post last night with all sorts of stuff in it. criminalintentmusings.blogspot.com/ There is a list of blogs you can check into (thanks to tjara for assembling those!) - you never know when and where there will be information on some new venue to "hit" Say your thoughts on the Facebook pages. Tweet Leave comments on the USA Criminal Intent YouTube Channel Leave notes of support on VDO's Channel. I've combined both postcards on a pdf so you can print both on one sheet. (Should have done that to start..... juggling too many things.) Tried to contact ET, but I'll be darned if I can figure it out. How do they get their feedback??? I haven't checked all the links in that blog post - I finished it at 2 a.m. so let me know if you find a bad link and I'll fix it (why can't blogger make life simple and use html?).

I just had an email that came through my blog (I think) about purchasing fluff! (oh, boy, it's bad when I start to giggle...) Thanks to Chrissy for this info! Here is... a link where people can buy Fluff by the case and there is NO shipping fee, which is excellent considering the weight of those containers. There is a flat handling fee of $4.99 per order, so I ordered 3 cases and only paid the price of the product plus the $4.99 flat. There was also NO SALES TAX stuck on my order (going from Maryland to Jean Guerin in New York). Each case is only $27.48, which is less than Amazon, I believe. Here is the link to buythecase.net: www.buythecase.net/brand/Fluff/?kwmid=3366290&kmcid=2116618214&match_type=&gclid=CIfE9Y2enJ0CFUdM5QodLVRm2QI was able to purchase more than I had originally intended from the money I save on shipping.
